Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) is a national Institute of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) of India, with primary focus of research on drug discovery from natural products (medicinal plants and microbial species). IIIM is a multi-disciplinary organization encompassing the natural products chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, microbiology, biotechnology and botanical sciences.
Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine a constituent establishment of the of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, wishes to recruit JRF, Project Assistants at Level I & II on temporary basis to work in various sponsored/network/contract projects in this Institute and to make a panel of the selected candidates for future project positions.
Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine a constituent establishment of the of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, wishes to recruit Project Assistants at Level II & III on temporary basis to work in various sponsored/networked/contract projects in this Institute based on available vacancies and to make a panel of the selected candidates for future project positions.
1. PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-III
Essential Qualification : Ist Class M.Sc. or equivalent in the area of (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Life Sciences/Molecular Biology/Microbiology) OR Chemical Sciences (Natural Product Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry/Synthetic Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/analytical chemistry), with at least 2 years experience after M.Sc. or M. Pharma.
Desirable : Practical Experience in relevant areas using modern techniques with proven record and should knowledge of subject.
2. PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-II
Essential Qualification : Ist Class M.Sc./M.Pharma or equivalent in Biological, Chemical Sciences and Bio-informatics with sound knowledge of the relevant subject.
Desirable: Practical research experience in the areas mentioned above.
Age and stipend for the above positions is as under :-

Rs.14,000/- (fixed) per month & Rs.12,000/- (fixed) per month
AGE
32 years (25.08.2011) & 28 years (25.08.2011)
Age : Age will be determined as on 16.08.2011. ( Relaxation of age is admissible for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped categories as per Govt. rules). Relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years is also applicable for persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of J&K during the period of 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 subject to production of certificate from the concerned District Magistrate in the J&K within whose jurisdiction he/she had ordinarily been resided or from any other authority designated in this behalf by the Govt. of J&K to the effect that he/she had ordinarily being domiciled in the J&K during the period of 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
Tenure : ONE YEAR : likely to be extended.
