As per the provision of the Constitution of India formation of the Gujarat Public Service Commission has been made on 01-05-1960. These functions are subject to the limitations imposed by the Gujarat Public Service Commission (Exemption from Consultation) Regulations, 1960 made under proviso to clause (3) of Article 320 of the Constitution of India.

Qualification: post graduation in pharmacognosy or botany as main subjects or organic chemistry with phytochemistry
Also require min 5 years of research exp in indegenious drug and phytochemical methods
Desirable:
preference would be given to candidate with relevant research exp
Note: For this post, if candidate is not registered in Gujarat State Pharmacy council as per Gujarat Medical Council Act 1967 or Pharmacy Act 1948, he/she has to register in it.
Salary: Rs. 15600-39100 with grade pay 6600
Age Limit: Max. 40 years
