National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), Hyderabad (Established in the year 2007) is a prestigious educational institution of national importance under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, to provide leadership in Pharmaceutical Sciences and other related areas.

NIPER is inviting applications for Teaching and Non-Teaching positions on contractual basis initially for a period of one year that are likely to continue based on the performance of the selected candidates. Candidates will be paid consolidated emoluments based on their qualification and experience.

Assistant Professor (Pharmacology & Toxicology / Regulatory Toxicology)
Age Limit (Yrs) : 45
Minimum Educational Qualifications/Skills/ Experience required for eligibility :
• Ph.D with First Class or equivalent at the preceding degree (M.S. (Pharm) / M. Pharm) in the Pharmacology & Toxicology with good academic record.

• At least 5 years of teaching / research / industrial experience with a published work of high quality in the relevant area.

• Good background in the area of Pharmacology /Regulatory Toxicology/ Histopathology/ Immunohistochemistry/ in vivo and in vitro techniques for assessment of toxicity/GLP Toxicology, Genotoxicity, experimental cancer research and other Pharmacology related areas. Publications in peer-reviewed journals of high impact factor are desirable.

Associate Professor (Pharmaceutical Management)
Age Limit (Yrs) : *50
Minimum Educational Qualifications/Skills/ Experience required for eligibility :
• PhD in Management with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree (MBA(Pharm) / MBA) with U.G. in Science/Commerce having Pharma / Industrial/ Research experience with good academic record.

• A minimum of 8 years of teaching/research/industrial experience with published work of high quality and established reputation of having made seminal contribution on knowledge in pharmaceutical and allied areas.

• Strong background in applying various management principles to production in pharmaceutical industry. Specialization in Marketing, International business, Regulatory / Human Resource Management from a reputed Management Institute/ University with Pharmacy background is desirable. Experience in Training and Placement activities is preferable.

Assistant Professor (Pharmaceutical Management)
Age Limit (Yrs) : 45
Minimum Educational Qualifications/Skills/ Experience required for eligibility :
• First Class Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Management / Business Management/ in a relevant management related discipline or first class in two-year full time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU/accredited by the AICTE / UGC. PhD / NET / SET qualification is desirable.

• At least 5 years of teaching / research / industrial experience with a published work of high quality in the relevant area. Good background in applying various management principles to production in pharmaceutical industry.

• Specialization in Marketing, International business, Regulatory/Human Resource Management from a reputed Management Institute / University with pharmacy related background is desirable. Experience in Training and Placement activities is preferable.

*Officers retired from Central Government organizations/ PSUs/ Universities etc., upto 62 years will be considered.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. The applicant must be a citizen of India.
2. All applicants must fulfill the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement as on the last date of receipt of the hard copy of applications. They are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the essential qualifications laid down for various posts as on the last date of receipt of the applications. No enquiry asking for advice as to eligibility will be entertained.
3. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. The duly constituted Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for short-listing the candidates. The candidate should therefore, mention in the application all the qualifications and experience in the relevant area over and above the minimum prescribed qualification, supported with documents. Completion of Ph.D. degree will be reckoned from the date of issue of provisional certificate/notification.

4. The application should be accompanied by self attested copies of the relevant educational qualification, experience etc. The prescribed qualifications should have been obtained through recognized Universities / Institutions etc. Incomplete applications/applications received without the required certificates / documents are liable to be rejected.

5. The date for determining the upper age limit, qualifications and /or experience shall be the closing date prescribed for receipt of hard copy of application(s), i.e., 06.08.2018.
6. The period of experience shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum educational qualifications prescribed.
7. Any discrepancy found between the information given in application and as evident in original documents will make the candidate ineligible for appearing in interview.
8. The decision of the Director, NIPER Hyderabad in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection, conduct of examination/interview will be final and binding on the candidates.
9. Canvassing in any form and / or bringing any influence political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the post.
10. Date of interview or any other updates as the case may be will be displayed on NIPER Hyderabad website.
11. NO INTERIM ENQUIRY OR CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE ENTERTAINED.
12. Age is relaxable in respect of SC/ST/OBC as per rules and regulations.
13. Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate for being called for interview, the Institute reserves the right to place reasonable limits on the total number of candidates to be called for interview.
14. Institute reserves the right to withdraw advertised post(s) at any time without assigning any reason. Institute also reserves the right to fill (either in the same position or downgraded position) or not to fill any post(s) and its decision in this regard shall be final
15. Candidates shall have to produce original certificates for verification at the time of interview, failing which the interview will not be allowed.
16. Skype interview can be arranged on request for the candidates who are not in a position to attend the interview in person.

2. The soft copy of the filled application is to be sent to e-mail ID recruitment.niperhyd@gov.in and keep a CC to director.niperhyd@gov.in on or before 31st July 2018.
3. The envelope containing the duly filled in application form supported by Bio-data and one set of attested copies of Certificates of educational qualification, age, experience, category (SC/ST/OBC), passport size photograph, etc., super scribing ‘Application for the post of ---------------------------------------------------’ must reach the office of Registrar, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER-Hyderabad), Balanagar, Hyderabad, Telangana– on or before 6th August 2018 upto 5:00PM. The Institute will NOT be responsible for non-receipt of application(s) within the stipulated date due to any postal delay / loss of application / document sent in transit. Late applications may not be considered.
4. The applicants serving in Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous organizations must send their application on the prescribed format along with relevant documents ‘Through proper channel’, failing which, the same will not be considered. However, advance copy of the application may be submitted before the closing date.
5. In the case of the candidate desired to apply for more than one post, separate application for each post should be submitted
6. Incomplete application or without relevant supporting enclosures (attested copies of degrees / certificates / marks sheets / experience certificates / Document certifying date of birth, reprint of important publications etc.) will be out-rightly rejected.
