Research Associate Fellowship at Gujarat Biotechnology University

Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate-I to work under the research project entitled “FCO-Compliant Production Framework for Seaweed Biostimulants: Analytical Validation, Omics Integration, and Shelf-Life Enhancement for Industry Competitiveness” funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT, GoI) at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU). The post is purely temporary and co-terminates with the project.

PI & Co-PI of the Project : Dr. Nitin Trivedi & Dr. Vivek Verma, GBU

Eligibility Minimum Qualifications : Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / Pharma /MD /MS from a recognized University or equivalent Or 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MSc/MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal (As per DST circular dated 26th June 2023)

Desirable Qualifications :
• Candidates with prior research experience in plant protein extraction, quantification, and quality assessment, and proteome profiling through LC-MS and interpretation of results.
• Candidate with prior research publications in plant protein extraction and proteome profiling
• Candidate with hands-on experience in LC-MS and data interpretation
• Candidates must have proficiency in scientific writing and lab management.

Age Limit : Up to 35 years on the closing date of the advertisement
Fellowship Duration : Initially for 1 year (extended to next year, subject to satisfactory performance)
Total project duration : 2 years

Fellowship : 58000 + HRA (as per the sanctioned letter)
