PGIMER Announces Research Recruitment for Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry candidates

The Department of Nephrology invites applications from eligible candidates for temporary project positions under an ICMR-funded research project entitled: “Development and Validation of Indigenous Kidney Disease Biomarker Diagnostic Kits : National Reference Laboratory and Scaled Manufacturing” The positions are purely contractual and co-terminus with the project, as per ICMR guidelines.

Project Research Scientist - I (Non-medical)
No. of Post : 02
Age : As per ICMR rules
Stipend Per Month : ₹56,000 + HRA
Educational Qualifications : Postgraduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Immunology / Biochemistry or related field
Desirable Qualification : Experience in clinical sample processing, developing ELISA, protein expression, molecular techniques, and biomarker assay development/validation

Project Technical Support - III
No. of Post : 01
Age : As per ICMR rules
Stipend Per Month : ₹28,000 + HRA
Educational Qualifications : Three years graduate degree in relevant subject with three years post qualification experience OR PG in relevant subject/field
Desirable Qualification : Experience in clinical sample processing, ELISA and Data management

Project Technical Support - II
No. of Post : 01
Age : As per ICMR rules
Stipend Per Month : ₹20,000 + HRA
Educational Qualifications : 12th in science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT/Engineering or equivalent) with five years’ experience in the relevant field OR Three years graduate degree in relevant subject with two years of experience OR PG in relevant field
Desirable Qualification : Experience in clinical sample processing and Data management

Important Notes
• Positions are purely temporary, initially for 1 year.
• Extension will be based on performance and project duration, as per ICMR rules.
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview at the Department of Nephrology.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
