Applications are invited from the suitable candidates for two Ph.D. Research Fellows under the scheme of Kidar Nath Gaind Pharma Research Fellowship (KNGPRF) at University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh in the following specializations :
1. Pharmaceutical Chemistry (under the supervision of Professor Ranju Bansal)
2. Pharmacology (under the supervision of Professor Kanwaljit Chopra)
Essential Qualification :
1. B.Pharm and M.Pharm. with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PH)
2. M.Pharm should be in related specializations
3. Qualified GATE/GPAT/Ph.D. Entrance Test or any National Entrance test exam conducted by any Central Govt, department.
Preference will be given to the candidates having good publication records and work experience
Emoluments : Rs. 11,000/- per month for two years only

• Eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for interview in the office of Chairperson, UIPS, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The candidate must bring relevant documents to support his/her application. Evaluation will be conducted on the basis of marks obtained in B. Pharm and M.Pharm, GATE/GPAT score, number and quality of publications, presentations, patents, and/or other research accomplishments.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interviews.
