Post : Quality Assurance Officer (On Contract)

Qualification : B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc. (Chemistry) 
Experience : 5 years experience in Quality Assurance/ Manufacturing of pharmaceutical formulation unit. 
Desirable : Experience in implementation of QA systems, documentation review, deviation/CAPA handling, internal audit, vendor qualification, validation masterplan oversight 
Age Limit : Not exceeding 45yrs as on date of advertisement (Relaxation by 5 years for SC/ ST /PWD candidates and for others as per Govt. directives). Relaxation may be given for deserving candidates in exceptional cases.

Job Profile 
• Establishing Quality standards and systems 
• Ensure products meet quality and safety standards by reviewing processes, approving documentation and overseeing audits and compliance with regulations like GMP 
• Documentation management 
• Conduct batch reviews and release the final product after confirming it meets all quality specifications; 
• Investigate quality deviations, complaints, and product recalls to determine root causes and implement corrective actions; 
• Develop and implement CAPAs to address identified quality issues and prevent future occurrences 
• Provide training to staff on quality standards, GMP guidelines, and other quality-related procedures 
• Perform in-process sampling of raw materials and intermediates and ensure proper record-keeping. 
• Establish preventive measures and build quality into every stage of the product lifecycle, rather than relying on post- production testing 
• Contribute to the production of safe and high-quality pharmaceutical products by identifying and mitigating risks. 
• Foster a culture of quality throughout the organization by defining, documenting, and continuously monitoring processes for improvement.

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR ALL THE CANDIDATES
i. Applicants working in Govt./ Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel. Candidates should submit a certificate from the employer/ competent authority that no vigilance/ disciplinary case is either pending or contemplated against him/ her. 
ii. Candidates upon selection are required to submit relieving letter from their present employer (Govt./ Public Sector/ Private) and Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining the Company, without which they will not be allowed to join. 
iii. Application forms should be supported by self-attested photograph and documents in respect of qualification, experience etc. of the candidates. 
iv. Incomplete applications or applications without self-attested copies of certificates/ testimonials or received after the last date are liable to be rejected. 
v. The prescribed essential qualifications/ experience indicated above as bare minimum and mere possession of the same will not entitle the candidates to be called for test/ interview. The Company reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview/ test to a reasonable number on the basis of qualifications and experience. 
vi. Bengal Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited (A Govt. of India Enterprise) will not be responsible for any postal delay. 
vii. The authority reserves the right to reject/ accept any/ all candidature without assigning any reason. 
viii. Canvassing in any form will lead to the cancellation of the candidature. No interim queries will be entertained. 
ix. Wrong declarations/ submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage. Even after selection of the candidates, in case any of the information, which the candidates have furnished and/or will furnish to the Company, proves to be false or incorrect at any stage of their employment/ engagement in the Company, their appointment/ engagement will be summarily terminated forthwith without assigning any reason thereof. 
x. The Company reserves the right not to fill up the post advertised, without assigning any reason. 
xi. In case of any dispute the decision of the Company will be final.
