Minimum qualification
(i) Four years Bachelor's degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences /Master's degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ BVSc/ B.Pharma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology, Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent
OR .....
(ii) Master's degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
OR
(iii) Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / pharma / MD / Master of Surgery from a recognized University or equivalent
Experience
(i) Four years 'experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology organization and Scientific activities and service.
(ii) Two years experience in R&D Industrial and academic institutions or S&T organizations and scientific activities and services.
(iii) Nil
Lab & Project Overview :
Our Laboratory has established patient-derived 3D intestinal organoid (colonoid) models for inflammatory bowel disease (1BD), including ulcerative colitis (UC). The current project centers on developing an autologous organoid co-culture systems incorporating Lamina Propria Mononuclear Cells (LPMCs) and Fibroblasts.
Key Responsibilities & Technical Competencies :
Organoid & Cell Culture:
• Adult stem cell-derived human intestinal organoid culture, maintenance, and optimization
• Primary cell culture: fibroblast and lamina propria mononuclear cell (LPMC) isolation and characterization
• Co-culture model development and optimization (organoid + primary cell integration) Characterization & Assessment:
• Flow cytometry (FACS) — cell sorting, gating, population analysis
• Immunofluorescence and immunocytochemistry (1CC) staining
• Live-cell imaging and confocal microscopy
• Functional cel I-based assays Molecular & Genomic Analysis:
• RT-qPCR and Western blotting/Multiplex protein assay
• scRNA-seq sample preparation and library prep
• Transcriptomics data interpretation
