Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical)- 1 position
Essential Qualification : 1. Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with three years post qualification Experience or PhD; or
2. for Engineering / IT / CS - Graduate degree of four years with three years’ post qualification experience.
Desirable : Candidates with experience in microbiology work, Real-time PCR, Line Probe assay, Xpert MTB/RIF, and translational work will be preferred.
Remuneration : As per ICMR rules.
Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)- 1 position
Essential Qualification : 1. Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees; or
2. for Engineering / IT / CS - A four-year graduate degree.
Desirable : Candidates with experience in microbiology, Real-time PCR, Line Probe assay, Trunat, and Xpert MTB/RIF will be preferred.
Remuneration : As per ICMR rules.
Project Technical Support III - 1 position
Essential Qualification : Three years Graduate degree in relevant subject / field + three years post qualification experience or PG in relevant subject/field or For Engineering/IT/CS- Four years Graduate Degree.
Remuneration : As per ICMR rules.
Project Technical Support II - 1 position
Essential Qualification : 12th in Science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT / Engineering or equivalent) + Five years’ experience in relevant subject / field or Three years Graduate degree in relevant subject / field + two year experience in relevant subject.
Remuneration : As per ICMR rules.
The engagement in the project is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. However, appointment will be initially offered for a period of 6 months and will be extended depending upon satisfactory performance of the candidate and extension by the funding agency. Total duration of appointment in the project is a maximum of 3 years. Please note that it is not a PGIMER / ICMR, New Delhi appointment and will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim implicit or explicit on any position.
Applicants should report for a walk-in interview in Room No. 2029A, 2nd floor in the Dept, of Exp. Med. & Biotechnology, Research Block-B, PGIMER, Chandigarh on 1/10/2025 at 10:30 am (Project Research Scientist- l/U (Non-Meclical) and on 5/10/2025 at 10:30 am for (Project Technical Support II/III).
The candidates must bring their latest resume, one set of photocopies of documents (along with original documents for verification) in support of their educational qualifications, experience letter, no objection certificate (if applicable), along with a valid I-card for verification. A screening test may be conducted depending on the number of candidates appearing for the posts. Candidates coming after 11 am will not be entertained for the interview.
