Interview for ‘Project-JRF’ Position - 01 Post
Title of Project : Targeting riboswitches with synthetic small molecules for the development of antimycobacterial agents.
Principal Investigator : Dr. Ambadas B. Rode, Associate Professor
Duration : Initially, for six months, it may depend on the requirement and performance basis, till the duration of the project.
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in life sciences with NET/DBT-JRF/GATE or equivalent exam cleared. Minimum 60% marks in a Master's or equivalent degree.
Desirable Qualifications : Experience of working with
1) Antibacterial Assays,
2) Trained in mice handling and performing experiments such as injecting drugs, collecting blood samples and organs after sacrificing the mice, etc.
3) Techniques such as ITC, SPR, BLI, western blot and PCR analysis. A certificate of related experience (from the concerned principal investigator) should be uploaded.
Fellowship : Rs. 37,000/- 24% HRA per month
