Advertisement No.-109/2025, Online applications are invited in the prescribed form from eligible Indian candidates for appointment to a total of 09 (nine) vacant posts of Project Manager under Bihar Industry Service Cadre under the control of Industries Department, Bihar.

Essential Qualification:-
(1) At least second class or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering or Textile Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or any other branch of Engineering. or
(ii) At least second class degree in Economics or Mathematics or Statistics or Physics or Chemistry from a recognized University. (Degree means Honours Course) or
(iii) MBA degree/PG Diploma from an Institute recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). or
(iv) Pharmacy degree from an Institute/University recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). or
(v) Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. or
(vi) Membership of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India. or
(vii) Degree in Silk Technology/ Management or equivalent qualification recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). or
(viii) Degree in Leather Technology or equivalent qualification recognized by any Institute/University recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Age Limit
Minimum 21 years and maximum unreserved (male) 37 years as on 01.08.2025, Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class (male and female) and unreserved female 40 years and Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (male and female)- 42 years.
(i) In the light of letter no. 212, dated- 23.01.2006 of the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Bihar, candidates who are eligible on the basis of the above mentioned maximum age limit from 01.08.2020 to 01.08.2025 will also be eligible for the presented advertisement, provided they fulfill other eligibility and the candidature of the candidates retiring during the recruitment process will not be considered.
(ii) In the light of the resolution letter No. 2374, dated 16.07.2007 of the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Bihar and the resolution letter No. 22218, dated 12.12.2022 of the General Administration Department, a relaxation of 05 (five) years is admissible for the regularly appointed government servant of the Government of Bihar, but permission to appear in the competitive examination during the said age limit relaxation period will be given only if they have not availed a maximum of 05 (five) opportunities till then. In case of claiming age limit relaxation, it will be mandatory for the Government servant of the Government of Bihar to submit a certificate issued by the competent authority.
After joining the service, the Government servants of the Government of Bihar will be admissible a maximum of 05 (five) opportunities to appear (sit in the examination) in the competitive examinations conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission during their entire service period.
(iii) In the light of the Resolution No. 962, dated 22.01.2021 of the General Administration Department, Bihar, in addition to the maximum age limit, 10 years relaxation in the maximum age limit is admissible for the disabled. In case of claiming, it will be mandatory to submit the certificate issued by the competent authority. It will be ensured that the certificate is valid till the last date of application.
(iv) In the light of the letter of the General Administration Department, ex-servicemen will be given concession of 03 (three) years in the age limit and the sum of the service period spent in the defense service, provided that their actual age is not more than 57 years on the date of application.
In case of claiming relaxation in age limit, ex-servicemen will be required to submit the relevant certificate.

Fee:- In the light of the resolution letter-15568, dated-21.08.2025 of the General Administration Department, Bihar, each candidate has to deposit only 100 / - (one hundred rupees) examination fee.
Note:- (i) Candidates who do not mention Aadhaar number as identity card in the online application, will have to pay an additional fee of Rs. 200 / - (two hundred) as Biometric fee.

One Time Registration (OTR)
(i) To apply online for various examinations of BPSC, it is mandatory to do One Time Registration (OTR) on the website of Bihar Public Service Commission bpsconline.bihar.gov.in.
(ii) To do OTR, candidates will click on the New user Registration Button.
(iii) The said OTR will be valid for all advertisements published by the Commission in future.
(iv) OTR is not an application for any examination. It is only to collect information from the applicants and give a separate dashboard to each applicant to facilitate maintaining their profile.
(v) Valid active email ID and mobile number is mandatory to do OTR. Check your email OTP in your email's Inbox or Spam.
(vi) Candidates who wish to apply online for any examination advertised by BPSC will have to use the password given in OTR.
(vii) More than one OTR registration is not allowed. This may result in rejection/cancellation of your application.
(viii) Candidates who have already done One Time Registration (OTR) while applying through online portal, they should also ensure to complete the OTR process afresh on the new portal.
(ix) To access the dashboard of online application, candidates will login to URL: https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in/candidate/login with their mobile no./email ID and password created by the candidate.

Note:-
(i) There will be no provision for change and correction in the name, father's name, mother's name, gender, Aadhaar number and date of birth of the candidate filled in the order of OTR.
(ii) The applicant will be required to compulsorily upload the documents required to apply, which can be uploaded through Digilocker Account.

The dates and other instructions related to filling the online application form are as follows:-
(i) Date of starting of online application : 10.09.2025
Last date for filling the online application : 06.10.2025
(ii) Candidates are not required to send hard copy of application form and related documents to the Commission office. If the candidate himself submits the application or any supplementary documents in hard copy, then that hard copy application/documents and any claim made on its basis will not be admissible.
(iii) Action to conduct the examination will be taken considering the minimum qualification and reservation related claims filled by the candidates in the online application as true. The initial verification of the certificates filled in the online application and matching with the original certificates will be done only at the time of document verification/interview. Before this, it will not be checked normally and later if the certificates are found to be incorrect in the verification, or the facts/evidence given by the candidate are found to be incorrect/erroneous, then the application of the candidate will be cancelled and the decision of the Commission on this will be final and the candidate will not have any objection to it. Also, due to this reason, the candidate can be declared ineligible for present and future, the full responsibility of which will be of the candidate only.
(iv) Necessary (detailed) instructions related to filling online application are displayed on the official website of the Commission bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
Candidates will study the above instructions thoroughly before filling online application and will enter all the information correctly and clearly while filling online application.
