The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER, Kolkata) has been created as a centre of excellence for higher education, research and development in pharmaceutical sciences. The Institute offers in M.S.(Pharm.) in Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Products and Pharmacoinformatics. The Institute admits students for the M.S(Pharm.) through a common entrance test conducted by NIPER, Mohali. In future the number of M.S. programs would be increased and Ph.D programs would also be started in various disciplines of pharmaceutical sciences every year.

Educational Qualification :
Essential qualifications: Non-NET qualified, M.Sc.(Chemistry)/M.Pharm/M.S.(Pharm.) in any field of Life Sciences with minimum 60% marks in qualifying examination.
Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidate(s) having expertise in research experience in organic synthetic chemistry.
Remuneration : Remuneration thereof will be decided as per requirement and expertise/experience etc. respectively as decided by the Selection Committee.
The above positions are purely on temporary basis initially for six months extendable for a period of one year based as per needs and satisfaction of the Institute. Walk-in-Interview will be held on 14/09/2018 at 02:00 P.M. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER-Kolkata), Chunilal Bhawan Campus, 168, Manicktala Main Road, Kolkata - 700 054 (Adjacent to Bengal Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited).
