Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research (ACBR) was established in March 1991 as part of Centenary celebrations of Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and its foundation stone was laid by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Sh. Chander Shekhar Ji on 31 st March 1991.The mandate of the Centre is postgraduate education and research in Biomedical Sciences. The Center also has provision for postdoctoral training for young scientists at the start of their research career to gain the skills and insights required in their chosen fields.

Applications are invited for walk-in-interview from eligible candidates for the following post in the abovementioned project which are purely temporary and are strictly for project duration only.

Project: Synergy Grant from Principal Scientific Advisor, Govt. of India, (F. No.: Prn.SA/Epilep/2017)

Project Title: Investigation of the role of mass spectrometric lipid profiles of brain tissues resected from patients with Focal cortical Dysplasia (FCD) in defining the epileptogenic zone (EZ).

Duration of Project: 3 years

Remuneration(in Rs.) : 60,000 consolidated

Essential Qualifications
The applicant should possess a Ph.D. degree with minimum2 years of research experience.

Desirable qualification: Knowledge/Experience of LC-MS.

Applicants are required to bring applications on plain paper, stating the name, address, date of birth and a detailed resume with educational qualifications and research experience, along with attested photocopies of mark sheets and certificates etc at the time of interview. The reporting time for the interview is 9:30 to 10:30am. Applicants reporting after 10:30 am will not be considered for the interview.

Note: No TA & DA will be paid for attending the interview. The Center reserves the right to fill or not to fill the position, depending on the qualifications/credentials of the candidates applied, etc. The appointment does not confer any entitlement of right over the job and will not be considered as University service.
