Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, a constituent of CSIR is a leading research Institute in the area of chemical sciences. The core strength of IICT lies in Organic Chemistry, and it continues to excel in this field for over six decades. The research efforts during these years have resulted in the development of several innovative processes for a variety of products necessary for human welfare such as drugs, agrochemicals, food, organic intermediates, adhesives etc. More than 150 technologies developed by IICT are now in commercial production.

Desirable Qualifications, Experience : Experience in isolation synthesis and characterization of biobased monomers and polymers

Project Title : Volarisation of waste to carboxylic acids by integrated Acidogenic fermentation....
Stipend(Rs) : 25,000/- +HRA
Essential Qualifications :M. Sc (Biotechnology/Microbiology) with 55 % marks and NET/GATE qualified
Desirable Qualifications, Experience : One year experience in wastewater volarisation

Project Assistant III (01 post)
Project Title : Development of sustainable water treatment system based on Microbial Desalination Process for Salt Removal
Stipend(Rs) : 18,000/-
Essential Qualifications : M. Sc (Biotechnology/Microbiology) with 55% marks and 2 years experience or M Tech (Biotechnology/Microbiology) with 55% marks
Desirable Qualifications, Experience : One year experience + one publication

Age Limit :
Project Assistant-ll : 30 years
Project Assistant-Ill : 35 years
JRF (Project) : 28 years

Experience is preferred for all the above positions.

Upper age limit relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/PH/Women and 3 years for OBC

The Selection will be on the basis of Interview. The engagement will be initially for a period of six months/one year, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the tenure of sponsored project/satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis for the sponsored project and does not entitle him/her for the CSIR/IICT post/fellowship.
