Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the area of organic synthetic transformations, to work under the supervision of Dr. Vinaykumar Kanchupalli at the School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad, for a duration of two years. The project involves “Design and Synthesis of novel Alkylidene Based bis-Heterocycles via Transition-Metal Catalysis or Photo Catalysis”.

Eligibility Criteria: (Candidates with NET or NET-JRF qualification will be preferred). 
The applicant must hold (or be in the final stages of completing) a Master’s degree or relevant degree in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry. 
A strong interest in organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms is essential. 
Prior experience in transition-metal catalysis or photo catalysis will be considered an added advantage.
Stipend/Remuneration: JRF: Rs 37,000/- per month + HRA 
The fellowship is for initially for 1 year and extendable till the end of the project subject to the satisfactory performance.
