Educational Qualification:
D.Pharm or B.Pharm (from a University recognized by the Government of India or a State Government) and one year experience as a Junior Pharmacist in any Government Hospital, Semi-Government Hospital, or any Hospital or any Pharmaceutical Company (as per Companies Act-2013) as a Dispatcher in any Hospital or any Pharmaceutical Company (as per Companies Act-2013)
The Gujarat Pharmacy Council should not be held responsible for this. (Under Pharmacy Act-1948)
The candidate must have knowledge of the subject
Must be fluent in Gujarati and Hindi.

Salary scale:-
For the first five years, a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 40,800/- will be paid. After that, for five years of service, if found satisfactory, he/she will be eligible to get regular pay scale of Rs. 29200-92300 as per the 7th Pay Commission.

Age: The age should not be more than 35 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Employees of Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation Age limit will not be applicable after that. However, the maximum age limit will be 58 years

Age limit: - Candidates belonging to reserved category (including economically weaker sections) and all female candidates with disabilities who are originally from Gujarat should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 35 years of age. All female candidates with disabilities will be eligible for the following relaxations in the above age limit as per the rules. (The same relaxations will be given to reserved category candidates as per the rules as per the details of reserved posts as shown
1. General female candidates - 5 years
2. Reserved category male candidates - 5 years
3. Reserved category female candidates - 10 years
4. General category male candidates with disabilities - 5 years
5. General category female candidates with disabilities - 10 years

For military candidates:- 1) The candidates who are military personnel are entitled to relaxation in the above age limit as per the government norms. (2) The candidate should be a military personnel himself, the military personnel candidates will have to give details of the period of service as military personnel in the army and in the parish. The military personnel candidate will have to submit a certificate in the form prescribed by the District Military Recruitment and Rehabilitation Office, signed by an officer authorized by law, showing the period of service of the candidate in the armed forces, to the Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation on demand. If the candidate has listed his/her online application in the category of Military Personnel and in future when the Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation demands, if the candidate fails to produce the official proof of being a Military Personnel, then the candidate's claim to get a job as a Military Personnel will not be entertained and If the merit list for the female soldier is not selected, the selection/reduction will be cancelled. The candidate should take note of this.
3. Candidates of all categories will be eligible for the above age limit relaxation under any circumstances on the date specified.

1:- Be a citizen of India or a citizen of Nepal or is a citizen of Bhutan or (c) is a native of India, (d) and has migrated from former British Indian states like Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. However, the Government should have given a certificate of residence in the case of a candidate falling under the category (b)(c)(d):- The Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation will consider the application of a candidate whose certificate of residence is required.

Application:
(1) If you want to apply for more than one seat, then you have to apply separately for each seat and with each application you have to pay the prescribed fee of Rs. 500/- for unreserved category and Rs. 250/- for reserved category candidates.
(2) The duplicate copy without application fee will not be considered.
(3) During document verification, the candidate will have to submit the original marks of the mark sheet of the university/ institution (all years/semesters) as per the educational qualification as mentioned in the online application and its certified copy. Also, the marks regarding experience will have to be submitted. The marks given by the college principal will not be considered.
(4) Even if there is no reservation for female candidates in advertisement, female candidates can apply in that category.
(5) Application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Educational Qualification:-
(1) The candidate should possess the educational qualification as per the last date of receipt of application as per the notification. (2) The candidate should have obtained his/her academic qualification from a recognized university/institution. At the time of document verification, the candidate will have to submit a self-attested copy of the academic qualification as mentioned in the online application.
(3) The college principal will have to submit a self-attested copy of the mark sheet (all years/semesters) of the university/institution. The amount given will not be considered as my own.
(4) The candidate's claim to retain his/her educational qualification on a provisional basis will not be accepted.
(5) If a candidate has a right to claim that he/she has qualifications equivalent to those shown in advertisement, such a candidate Details of orders/authorization establishing equivalence will have to be provided.

No objection certificate:
Government of Gujarat Government / Officers / Officers serving in Government Corporations / Companies / Employees of Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation can apply online in the context of Herat and the candidate will have to submit the application to his/her department / department / office within 7 days from the date of application. If the candidate If the employer refuses to grant permission to apply within 30 days after the last date of submission of application, their application will be rejected and their candidature will be cancelled. The candidate will have to submit a no objection certificate issued by the concerned officer.

Disqualified candidate:- If the candidate has ever been declared disqualified by Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation or any other Municipal Corporation any other Government/Semi-Government/Government-owned organization, the details thereof shall be given in the application. If the candidate If the period of disqualification continues, the application of such candidate will be liable to be rejected.
Compulsory Appointment, Removal, Dismissal:- Previously, the candidate has never been dismissed from any Government Service/Government Service or any Board If the application has been dismissed or dismissed, its details must be given in the application. If this matter comes to the notice of the applicant after the application is submitted, the application will be cancelled.

Important Provisions:-
(1)    The Selection Committee of Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation will prepare a merit list after determining the cut-off percentage, keeping in mind the number of vacancies actually to be filled and the total number of applications received, and will issue a call letter to only the shortlisted candidates for the written test/oral test. If necessary, these shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of their original qualifications and other supporting documents. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained
(2)    in the basic written test/oral test. For the post of Pharmacist, a merit list will be prepared for the written examination/oral test based on the percentage of D.Pharm or B.Pharm (from any university recognized by the Government o The shortlisted candidates will be issued call letters for written test/oral test as decided by the Selection Committee. All the candidates with equal marks at the end of preparation of merit list will be issued call letters for written test/oral test.
(3)    The financial provision for the establishment expenses of all the above mentioned places will be made by the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat and accordingly, if the State Government finds a government employee, the said establishment can be deputed to the State Government. The government can post the establishment on deputation to any place in the State. That is, all the above mentioned places are transferable and if the government employee is found, he can be posted or transferred to any place in the State.
(4)    Candidates serving in Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation or any other government/non-government organization, who are selected for the above post, will have to appear for the following post only after receiving the notification from their original post and their previous period of service will not be regularized/taken into account
(5)    All the above zones have been allowed to continue till the end of the financial year by the State Government. Thereafter, the duration of the zones will be subject to the approval of the State Government from time to time. The responsibility of Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation will not be decided in this regard.
(6)    While preparing the final merit list, 100% of the results of the written exam/oral test will be considered as valid.
(7)    Candidates applying online should not make any mistake or omission in the information/details filled in the application form. If any application is found to be inadmissible, it will be considered as rejected and no representation
(8)    will be entertained in this regard. In case the University or any institution shows CPI/CGPA/SGPA/OGPA/GED instead of percentage marks, in such a case, the candidate will have to calculate the marks in the official website of the     University or institution and show only the percentage in the application form. If any candidate can show CPI/CGPA/ SGPA/OGPA/GED in the application form, then his application need not be considered, which the candidates should note.
(9)    Athletics (including track and field), badminton, basketball, cat, table tennis, hockey, wrestling, table tennis, volleyball, tennis, weightlifting, relay, bocce, sailing, martial arts, judo, rifle shooting, kabaddi, kho-kho, archery, horse riding, golf, rowing, chess, headball games- In sports, if the candidate has been represented in (1) National/Inter-State or (2) Inter-University or (3) All India School Association competitions, 05 (five)% marks will be added to the total marks obtained in the written examination of the first stage of the primary school for selection. For this, the candidate should apply as per the Government Resolution No.: C.R.R/1077/2660/G.2 dated 25-2-1980. The authority as prescribed in Resolution No.: C.R.R/1188/3644/C.2 of 1990 is hereby notified. The fine obtained in the sample will have to be produced when the committee asks for it. Only candidates who have such a certificate will be considered. Will be entitled to game points.
(10)    No objection will be entertained in the future regarding the eligibility of the organization issuing the qualification certificates as indicated by the candidate in the application form, as the decision of the Selection Committee of Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation shall be final and binding on every candidate.

Written/Oral Test:-
(1)    The candidate will have to appear for the written examination or oral test at his/her own expense.
(2)    The written test will be decided by the Municipal Corporation as per the academic qualification of the candidate or it will be Gujarati (and the subject will be subject to the same).
(3) The list of candidates selected in the primary examination or in the direct selection examination for recruitment in this category will be valid for two years or till the next day of the result of the subsequent examination, whichever is earlier (up to office hours only). The Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Bhavnagar shall have the absolute right to change the number of candidates mentioned above.
(4) The selection committee of Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation shall decide on the number of candidates to be selected for the written test or oral test. will be taken. Which will be binding on all.
(5)    Interpretation of the provisions of Herat and the decision of the Commissioner, Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation regarding this recruitment It will be final and binding on all.

How to apply online and pay application fee:
Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation will accept online applications only. Candidates can fill the application form from 19/10/2025, 09:00 hrs to 08/11/2025 23:59 hrs at ojas.gujarat.gov.in .
Candidates will have to follow the steps (1) to (15) of the application form.
The application will be considered valid only after receiving the Confirmation Number.

(2) Click Apply Online. By clicking this button (1) More Details and (2) Apply Now button will appear. By clicking on More Details Candidates should check all the details of advertisement and then click on the Apply Now button.
(3) By clicking on the Pharmacist tab, the details of the location will be available.
(4) Clicking on Apply Now below it will show the Application Format. In the Application Format, the candidate has to fill in the "Personal Details” section. (The details marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.) Where Mobile Corporation can contact Number and Email ID are mentioned, write your details so that the Bhavnagar Municipal the candidate in "Personal Details” if necessary.
(5) After filling the Personal Details, click on Educational Details to fill the Educational Details and fill in your educational details.
(6) Click on Additional Qualification and fill in the Additional Qualification.
(7) Click on Experience Details and fill in the Experience Details. If you want to gain more experience, Add. More Exp. Click on it and fill in the details.
(8) Click on Additional Information and fill in the information there. If the additional experience is not included in the Ojas Module, then send the details of the additional experience on a plain paper as per the table of experience found in Ojas
(9) Below that, click on Yes/No in "self-Declaration”.
(10) Now by "clicking” on save, your data will be saved. Here the candidate's Application Number will be generated.
(11) If you want to make any changes in your application, you can do so by going to Edit Application, this facility is available in the application. Available before confirmation. This facility will not be available once the application is confirmed.
(12) Now click on Upload Photo at the top of the page, type your Application Number and your Type Birth Date. Then click on ok. Here you have to upload Photo and Signature. (Photo size 5) cm. height and 3.6 cm. width and Signature number should be 2.5 cm. height and 7.5 cm. width) ( To upload your photo and signature, first upload your photo and signature in jpg format (15KB) size. (It should be in the computer no more than .) Click on the "Browse” button. Now from the Choose File screen, select the file in which your photo is stored in jpg format and click on the "open” button. Click Now your Photo will appear next to it. Now you will have to upload Signature in the same way.
(13) Now click on "Confirm Application” at the top of the page and enter "Application Number” and (1) Birth Date Type after clicking on ok button 1. Application preview 2. Confirm Application will appear. The candidate should click on and view his/her application. If you want to make any changes in the application, click on Edit "Application preview Application and make changes. Any changes can be made in the application before confirming the application. But, no changes can be made in the application after confirming the application. If you feel that there is no need to make any changes in the application, then click on confirm application only. By clicking on confirm application, the candidate's application will be accepted online by Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation. This will generate confirmation number. The candidate must keep it for the process. No transaction will be allowed except the confirmation number. Keep print out of confirmed application form for future references.
(14) Fee to be paid by the candidate: Candidates can pay the application fee by clicking on "Print Challan" and taking a copy of the dated challan at the nearest post office having computer facility through the following options. At the post office:- Non-reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs. 500/- and reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs. 250/- Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation fee + Portal Service Charge. And a challan regarding the fee payment will have to be obtained. . Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation fee + Portal Service Charge will have to be paid by 11/11/2025 and a challan regarding the fee payment will have to be obtained. The candidate should keep this challan and the confirmed offer letter with him/her and whenever called for by Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation, the offer letter along with the bids and a copy of the fee paid challan should be sent through RPAD/Ped Port or should be handed over to the Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation office.
(15) A candidate shall submit only one application for each category. However, in the event that a candidate has submitted more than one application, the last "Confirmed" application, along with the prescribed fee, shall be considered as valid and the previous application shall be considered as invalid. The fee paid with the previous application shall not be taken into account against the last "Confirmed" application. If the candidate has not paid the prescribed fee with the last "Confirmed" application, the last "Confirmed" application of that candidate shall be considered as invalid. If the fee has been paid with more than one application by the candidate, it shall not be refunded.
