The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body of the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. It is an apex body in India for the formulation, coordination, development, and promotion of research on scientific lines in the Ayurveda of medicine.
Post : Senior Research Fellow (Bio-chemistry / 01)
The Institute intends to engage service of the following post on contract basis for the IMR Project entitled “Biochemical Effect of Trikatu Churna in Methimazole induced Experimental Hypothyroidism in Wistar Rats”
Essential: - MSc. Biochemistry with two years of research experience in the reputed research organizations.
Desirable : a) Having worked for any research projects funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, DST or equivalent organization.
b) Skills of drafting editing of scientific documents and publication in peer reviewed journals.
c) Working knowledge of computer application drug design/in silico /ayurinformatics
Age limit : Not exceeding 35 years as on date of written test/ interview.
Monthly Remuneration : Rs.42,000/- P.M Plus HRA as per rule
General instructions
1. The engagement would be purely on contractual basis initially for a period of 6 months which may be extended for a period of 1 year / till the completion of the project or curtailed at the discretion of the competent authority, based on the performance of the selected candidate and co-terminus with the project and there will be no right to claim for continuation or regular appointment.
2. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on date of interview relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC as provided for in Govt, of India orders.
3. The format for submission of bio-data may be downloaded from the Council’s Website.
4. The selection committee has right to select or reject application of candidate without assigning any reason there off.
5. The selected candidate will have to submit Police clearance certificate and an undertaking in the non¬judicial stamp paper along with the joining report at the time of their joining.
6. Assistant Director in-Charge, Cheruthuruthy reserves the rights to postpone or cancel the test interview, without any reason there off.
