Openings for Pharmacists under Health and Family Welfare Department

Under Gujarat Urban Health Project at Gandhinagar Mahanagarpalika (G.M.N.P.A.) by the Health and Family Welfare Department of the Government of Gujarat for streamlining the structure of urban health services under the category mentioned below on totally temporary basis on 100% grant basis from the Government of Gujarat.  Online application forms are invited from the candidates for category wise filling up of Class-II and Class-III posts (mentioned in the table below).  In which Class-III posts are to be filled on a fixed salary basis on a purely temporary basis.  Candidates for the offered posts can visit ojas gujarat.gov.in website dt.  From 21/10/2023 (14:00 hours in the afternoon)  Application has to be made during 05/11/2023 (time till 23:59 hours of night).

Educational Qualification and Experience:-
(1) Should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from any University established or established in India by or under a Central or State Act or from any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as a Deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. Or
(2) Should possess a Diploma in Pharmacy from any University established or established in India by or under a Central or State Act or from any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as a Deemed University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 and in the Government or Should have at least two years experience as a Pharmacist in a Government Owned Board or Corporation or as a Compounder in a Pharmacy or Hospital or as a Pharmacist or Medical Representative in a Limited Pharmaceutical Company established under the Companies Act, 2013.
(3) Certificate of Basic Computer Knowledge as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967
Qualification in Computer Knowledge:-
Date of General Administration Department of Candidate State Govt. Government Resolution No. dated 13/08/2008. CRR/10-2007-120320865 or as per the syllabus prescribed from time to time should possess certificate / mark sheet from any training institute showing basic knowledge of computer or computer as a subject in any degree or course in computer knowledge from a government recognized university or institute. Must have certificates as such or certificates of having passed class 10th and class 12th examination with computer subject.
Adequate knowledge of Hindi and Gujarati language and mastery of Gujarati language should be required.
Nationality Candidate
a) Be a citizen of India or
b) Be a citizen of Nepal or
c) Be a citizen of Bhutan or
d) A Tibetan exile who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of settling permanently in India.
e) A person of Indian origin who has immigrated from Vietnam to East Pakistan (Bangladesh, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia, etc.) with the intention of permanent residence in India.


Age Limit:-
• Age will be calculated as on the last date of receipt of applications mentioned in the advertisement.
• The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and the upper age limit should be as mentioned in the above sheet for the respective post.
• The age with all the relaxations admissible in the upper age limit to the candidate should in no case exceed 45 years with all the relaxations admissible on the due date.
• Candidates for all posts will be eligible for relaxation in age limit as detailed below.
Non-Reserved (General Female Candidates) Male Candidates from Economically Weaker Sections, Socially and Educationally Backward Sections, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes native of Gujarat : 5 year

Candidates belonging to reserved categories will not get relaxation in age limit if they apply for non-reserved seats.

Exam Fee:-
•Candidates have to pay the exam fee by selecting the category while filling the form.
•When the candidates submit their application on the OJAS website, the examination fee for the general category candidates for class-II post is Rs. 500 (For female candidates, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, Economically Weak Sections, Ex-Servicemen, Candidates with Physical Disabilities, 50% of the examination fee will have to be paid) and for Class-3 posts Rs. 300 (For female candidates, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections, Ex-Servicemen, Candidates with Physical Disabilities, 50% of the examination fee will have to be paid online.)
• Click on “Online Payment of Fee” to deposit the exam application fee online. Then fill the following details by selecting the appropriate option from the options of “Net Banking of fee” or “Other Payment Mole” in the given options, after depositing the fee you will receive your fee. It will be written on the screen that it has been deposited and you will get a c-receipt, take a print out of it. If there is any defect in the process, it will be seen on the screen that your fee has not been paid. In addition, the associated bank charges will have to be paid by the candidate. If a candidate makes more than one application, the fee paid for each application will not be refunded. The candidate should keep this challan/e-receipt and the confirmed application form with him/her and when called for by the Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation, the application form along with the envelopes and a copy of the fee-filled challan/e-receipt should be submitted to the RPAD. It has to be sent by speed post or delivered in person at Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation office.
• Fees will not be accepted in any other manner.
• After payment of the fee, under no circumstances shall the fee be refundable or such fee shall be considered for another examination.
• Request for withdrawal or cancellation of application once applied will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Duration 1 hour 30 Minutes
1. Gujarati Grammar : 10 Marks
2. English Grammar : 10 Marks
3. Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning    : 10 Marks
4. Current Affairs of India and Gujarat, Public Administration, General Science : 10 Marks
5. Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporation Act, 1949 : 10 Marks
6. Store and Accounts in regards to Pharmaceuticals : 15 Marks
7. Questions with reference to Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical : 35 Marks
Total : 100 Marks
Note:
The objective type written test shall consist of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and O.M.R. (Optical Mark Reader) system.
Every question shall be of one mark.
The candidate shall have to attempt all questions.
Every attempted question with incorrect answer shall carry a negative mark of 0.25.
In every question there shall be one option as “Not attempted”. If the candidate does not intend to answer the question, He/She may select this option, the negative marks shall not be given.
If the candidate has not selected any of the option given in the question , than it shall carry a negative mark of 0.25.
