Job Description
• Perform hands-on wet lab work to develop new workflows and assays or validate assays on existing and new instrumentation platforms
• Prepare test plan and protocol for assigned tasks
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data; prepare statistical and narrative reports and/or graphs, as appropriate
• Apply scientific method and experimental design in problem solving.
• Follow quality procedures
• Prepare manuscripts for publication; present research results to scientific conferences and other groups
• Generate Intellectual Property in her/his technology area
• Continually broaden professional expertise through comprehensive knowledge of scientific literature and competitive products
• Keep updated with the latest research, equipment, and/or systems in area of technical expertise

Candidate Profile
• MS in biochemistry or equivalent disciplines or equivalent with 1 to 2 years R&D experience in assay pre-development setting
• Strong hands on technical expertise and exposure to the state-of-art experimental techniques in biochemistry and molecular biology
• Hands on experience, including assay design with one or more immunoassay techniques such as ELISA and its variants and a concept of immunoassays in general, including techniques such as flow cytometry and nephelometry
• Experience with NGS technologies is desirable
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in scientific writing or scientific creativity
• Excellent organizational, record keeping and communication skills
• A strong work ethic to generate high quality data under tight deadlines in a fast-pace environment, collaborative and proactive attitude a must
• Strong problem solving ability & analytical skills
• Creative, self-directed, and a team player with strong startup mentality
• Experience with design of experiments, statistical and data analysis software is a plus
