NIMHANS is conducting a walk-in interview on 25.11.2025 for the following post on contract basis under the TATA-Innovation Fellowship funded project titled “Biomarker(s) validation for Parkinson’s disease with Cognitive impairment in blood serum/plasma of patients and Neurobiological evaluation of their pathogenic potential” bearing number (DBT/2023/01721) under Dr. Phalguni Anand Alladi, Senior Scientific Officer – Scientist ‘G’, D BT-TATA Innovation Fellow, Department of Clinical Psychopharmacology and Neurotoxicology.& Principal Investigator, NIMHANS, Bengaluru – 560029.

Essential Qualifications : • M.Pharm / M.Sc in Neurosciences / Life Sciences from a recognized university, with 60% marks or equivalent grade.
• Scholars who have cleared National Eligibility Tests e.g. DBT/CSIR/ICMR and UGC-NET.
Desirable Qualifications : Experience in conducting animal experiments, human blood samples, ELISA/Immunohistochemistry and Western blotting techniques & data analysis, (preferable).
Maximum age limit : 35 (thirty-five) years.
Emoluments : Rs. 31,000/- per month + 24 % HRA (HRA is admissible only if not availing hostel accommodation).
Duration of the post : Initial appointment will be made for a period of 06 months, which will be extended every 06 months until the end of the project, depending on the performance of the candidate.
Total duration : 1.0 year or till the funds are sanctioned by the agency.
Nature of work : The candidate will be involved in designing and conducting animal experiments, collecting human blood samples, ELISA based estimations and data analysis related to the project and any other technical and administrative work assigned by the project investigators.
Selection process : Written test followed by interview.
