In order to ensure better health facilities in the district, as per the decision taken under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner cum Chairman, District Selection Committee, Dhanbad, applications are invited for the appointment of the following paramedical and other personnel on a contractual/honorary basis against the vacant posts by category till 5:00 pm on 20.11.2025.
Post : Pharmacist
No of posts : 06 (General-01, EWS-01, OBC-01, Female UR - 01, ST/SC-01)
Qualification : Diploma in pharmacy from a recognized Institute. Registered under Jharkhand state pharmacy council computer proficiency (MS office) & Internet
Age Limit (as on 01-08-2025) :
Minimum Age : 21
Maximum Age : General-35, EWS-35, OBC-37, Female UR - 38, ST/SC-40
Salary : Rs. 12,600
Selection Conditions
1. There will be no contractual employment; instead, they will be contracted to work against an approved honorarium.
2. District-level reservation rosters will be applicable for all the above posts.
3. Contracts will be valid for one year. If necessary, the contract period can be extended annually based on the Annual Performance Appraisal.
4. Contracts may be terminated by providing one month's notice or one month's honorarium to contractual employees.
5. Candidates submitting CGPA score cards as evidence of educational qualifications must submit a CGPA conversion chart along with the mark sheet.
6. Applicants applying for more than one post will be required to submit separate applications.
7. Candidates shortlisted by the committee in accordance with the advertised eligibility criteria will be included in the further selection process.
8. The committee's decision regarding the recruitment process will be final and binding.
9. The terms and conditions of the advertisement may be amended as required by the Committee.
10. No personal correspondence/contact regarding the appointment will be accepted.
11. Applicants must mention the post code number on their application form and the envelope containing the application form.
12. If any information/format provided by a candidate is found to be incorrect at any stage of the selection process, their candidature/appointment may be cancelled with immediate effect and legal action may be taken against them.
13. If a complaint regarding the appointment goes to court, it will be resolved in the Dhanbad Court only.
Selection Process
1. Candidates possessing the required qualifications and eligibility should ensure to send their applications by registered post/speed post to the Civil Surgeon cum Chief Medical Officer, Dhanbad, along with self-attested copies of the required certificates in the prescribed format, caste certificate issued by the competent authority for claiming reservation, matriculation certificate confirming date of birth, local resident certificate, and the duly filled application. 2. Application Fee : For each post, a demand draft of Rs. 400/- for General Category/OBC/OBC applicants and Rs. 200/- for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe applicants, payable to the District Rural Health Committee, Dhanbad, must be attached with the application form.
3. Candidates will be selected based on their scores in academic and technical examinations, written test, skill test, or interview, one or more of whichever is applicable.
4. All candidates must ensure to submit their applications by registered post/speed post only.
5. The final merit list will be published in the office of the Civil Surgeon/Deputy Commissioner for one week. Information regarding the publication of the list will be provided on the notice board, through newspapers, and on dhanbad.nic.in.
6. The received application forms/mark sheets and certificates will be entered into the computer and uploaded on the website dhanbad.nic.in and objections to the entries will be received through newspapers.
