Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Kothrud, Pune-411038, is a Premier Research Institute working under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt, of India. The following post of Consultant is to be filled on purely contractual basis whose details are given below.
Post : Consultant (Pharmacognosy) - 02 [against vacant post of 01 Research Officer (Pharmacognosy) and 01 Assistant Research Officer (Pharmacognosy)]
Monthly Consolidated Remuneration : Rs. 50,000/- Remuneration to Retired Government Officer (Group A & B) : A fixed monthly amount shall be admissible arrived at by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement. The entitlement of transport allowance will be as per DOE’s OM No. 21/5/2017- E.11(B) dt. 07.07.2017
Duration : Initially 6 months (may be extended based on satisfactory performance)
Essential :
M. Pharm. (Pharmacognosy) / M.Pharm. (Ayurveda) / M.Sc Medicinal Plants / Master’s Degree in Botany from a recognized University/Institution. 03 years Research / Teaching Experience at Bachelor Level after PG Degree.
Age : Age not exceeding 64 years as on the date of interview
Desirable eligibility : Research Publications, work experience in NABL / Pharmacognosy / Botany lab.
General Conditions
1. There will be an interview of the candidates from 11.00 A.M. onwards in the institute.
2. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
3. Candidates desiring to appear for an interview on the day of Interview, should bring all original documents, mark sheets, attested certificates, testimonials, a copy of Bio-data and two copies of recent colored photograph for submitting at 10.15 A.M. at Institute conference hall.
4. The engagement is purely contractual. No claim for the permanent/ regular appointment or continuation will be entertained.
5. For consultants engaged through open market; there would be a provision of 03% annual increment in remuneration as a ceiling on satisfactory completion of minimum of one year subject to performance review on case by case basis. However, the increment would be provided during a financial year only from 01st April to 31st March of any given financial year on completion of minimum of one year tenure during the term of contract and will not be given in between the financial year.
6. The terms and conditions for above engagement of consultant on contract basis are applicable as per guidelines issued vide letter no. F.No/ A-41020/4/2020-E-II dt. 01.04.2023 by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt, of India, New Delhi (copy enclosed).
7. The engagement is initially for 6 months which will be further extendable based on satisfactory performance of the candidate. The engagement will be terminated in case of regular officer is recruited Or transferred to the post.
