Applications are invited from the Indian citizens and resident of Uttar Pradesh on plain paper along with detailed bio-data for purely temporary position of Research Assistant (RA) under Uttar Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (UPCST). Lucknow sponsored research project (ID-3849) entitled “Appraisal of heavy metals accumulation and physiological responses in selected ethnomedicinal plants and their herbal products of terai region in Uttar Pradesh” The tenure of the position is initially for one year but it may be extended after a review every year, subject to a total period of three years (All rules and the guidelines of the funding agency will be final in any query).

Remuneration : Rs. 25000/- per month for first two years and Rs. 28000/- per month for third year as per UPCST guidelines
Qualification : High academic achievement with first class or equivalent CGPA in B. Sc. & M.Sc. (having experience in relevant area would be given preference) Fellowship may be awarded to holders of M.Sc. (Ag), M.Sc. (Botany), M.Pharm, and B.Tech (Biotechnology).
Age Limit : Upper age limit is 28 years as on 1st April, 2025
