IIT Ropar community has undertaken an important exercise of developing the Mission, Vision and Strategic Plan for the coming years. The exercise was carried out in active consultation with Indian Institute of Management Calcutta who have got technical expertise in this area. A participative bottom up approach was followed in formulating the Mission, Vision and Strategic Plan. Inputs from the entire IIT Ropar fraternity, MHRD, Board of Governors, Alumni and Industries were considered in the process. Finally we have arrived at the following Motto, Mission and Vision statements for our institute.
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the Shivanka Research Pvt Ltd-sponsored project titled "Synthesis and characterization of novel peptide derivatives for the treatment of obesity and diabetes."under the supervision of the undersigned,[Project No.KSHN-G].The Position is temporary and is available immediately.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
No of posts : Two (to join immediately)
Duration : 1 year (extendible on an annual basis up to 2 years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier).
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc., M.Pharm. or equivalent degree in Chemistry with 60% marks (or CGPA 6.5/10) and valid GATE/ CSIR/ LS-NET/ GPAT/ INSPIRE qualified.
Desirable Qualification : The research experience in synthetic organic/peptide chemistry.
Emoluments : 37000/month
Candidates having the above qualification are invited to appear (along with a brief Bio-data and all original Certificates) for a walk-in- interview before the selection committee on 5thDec, 2023 at 9 AM in the Dept. of Chemistry, IIT Ropar. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Please note that the post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project.
