The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.

Following post is required to be filled under above mentioned project on contract basis:
Project Title : Centre for Health Insurance Evidence Synthesis and Financing (CHIEF)
Qualifications :
Essential :- Educational: Master's degree in Public Health / Health Management / Master of Pharmacy.
Experience : 1 year of experience of working in the field of Health Financing/ Economic Evaluation.
Publications : At least 1 publication in the indexed journals in the field of Health Economics/ Health Financing / Economic Evaluation.
Desirable :- Excellent data management and analysis skills.
Emoluments per months (in Rs.) : Rs. 60,000/-
Terms of reference : The candidates who are willing to serve for the entire duration of project should apply for the above-mentioned position
