Post : Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in an ICMR funded research project entitled "Novel derivatives of Tacrine, a cholinesterase inhibitor, with added pharmacological actions - A preclinical experiment study" to work in the Laboratory of Dr. R V Omkumar at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram
1. Good Academic records with First Class Master's Degree in any branch of Life Science.
2. The Candidate should have qualified National Eligibility Test - CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/ or National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions viz., DBT-Biotechnology Eligibility Test/ Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JBEEBILS)/ ICMR Entrance Exam/ Approved DST Inspire Fellowship etc.
Six months experience in working with molecular biology and biochemistry techniques as well as with animal models.
Below 28 years as on November 22, 2021. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms.
31,000/- + 16% HRA per month.
DURATION : The project will be active for 3 years, however the initial appointment will be for a period of six months and further extension will be based on performance evaluation.
