Instructions & conditions to the candidates
1. Applications should be sent through post or Courier only. Applications will not be received in person.
2. Eligibility Criteria :
As per the advertisement, only the educational Qualification fixed for the particular post shall be considered, higher qualification shall be ignored.
Method of Selection:
I. On the basis of aggregate percentage of the respective educational qualification and on the basis of reservation.
II. For the posts under Part-1, Part-2 & Sl. No:9 of Part-3 the selection will be based on the performance of Skill based test and the prescribed educational qualification.
III. For the posts under Part-3 except Sl.No:9, the selection will be based on prescribed educational qualification.
IV. A provisional selection list shall be announced and objections from the affected candidates will be invited.
V. Based on the objections received, a Final Selection list / Revised provisional list shall be announced

3. Age Limit
On the last date of notification, candidate should have attained the age of 18 years and shall not exceed the age as mentioned below:
General merit : 35 years
Cat-2a/2b/3a/3b : 38 years
SC/ST/Cat-1 : 40 years
Provided that in the cases of the following, the upper age limit shall be relaxed as follows:
a. In the case of a candidate who is or was holding a post under the Government or a local authority or [a corporation established by a State Act or a Central Act or established by the Government under a State Act or Central Act and owned or controlled by the Government] by the number of years during which he is or was holding such post or [10] years whichever is less;
b. In the case of a candidate who is an ex-serviceman, by 03 years plus the number of years of service rendered by him in the Armed forces of the Union;
c. In the case of a candidate who is physically handicapped, by 10 years;
d. In the case of a candidate who is a widow, by 10 years;

4. The Candidates should have the knowledge of Kannada language
5. The candidates must apply in the specified application form which can be downloaded from the BBMP website bbmp.gov.in & super scribing the envelope as “Application for the Post of ______________” (Name of post should be mentioned).
6. Applications submitted after the due date will not be considered.
7. The candidate must attach the latest passport size photograph on the right hand side top corner of the application.
8. Canvassing or recommendation made for the selection of applicant will result in rejecting the application.
9. No Correspondence with the applicants will be entertained.
10. Applicants desirous of submitting applications for more than one post should submit separate applications mentioning name of the post separately along with necessary documents.
11. For the candidates who are selected under caste reservation, should produce Validation Certificate from the District Commissioner of the concerned district, who is the Chairman of Caste/ Income Investigating Committee) within 02 months of appointment order issued. Otherwise appointment order will be cancelled.
12. Bengaluru City Health & Family Welfare Society® reserves the right to appointment to the above posts.
13. Unsigned applications will not be considered.
14. Selection of candidates will be based on merit only (marks obtained in the qualifying examination and performance of Skill based test wherever applicable).
15. Bengaluru City Health & Family Welfare Society® doesn’t hold responsibility for postal delays.

16. Candidates desirous of availing the benefit of reservation should obtain Certificate from the revenue authority, not less than the rank of a Tahasildar of the concerned jurisdiction.
S.C/S.T : Form – D
Cat-1 : Form – E
Cat-2A, 2B, 3A, 3B : Form – F (The form must be obtained within the last date specified for submission of application and must be valid on the last date. That means the valid period of Cat-2A, 2B, 3A, 3B reservation certificates shall be 5 years from the obtained date to the last date of submission of application.
The format of the above certificates are given at the end of notification.

17. Project displaced candidates
Government Order No: SARD 71 SRR 2001 dt: 24-10-2002, 5% of the posts are reserved for Project Displaced persons. Applicants under this category should enclose certificate issued by the Tahasaldar in this regard. (Format is given at the end of the notification).

18. Ex-Serviceman Candidates:
Certificate from the Military Authority for being Ex-Servicemen or belonging to the family or persons killed during the service or permanently disabled during service in Indian Union Army shall be enclosed and such certificate should be obtained before the last date of submission of application.

19. Physically Handicapped Candidates
Physically Handicapped candidate means:
1. Person after wearing eyesight setting spectacles, out of two eyes, one good eye shall have the
capacity of not more than 6:60 or 20:2000 (snelen).
2. Persons having an eyesight of 20 degrees or lesser than angle extension right area.
3. The person who has lost full sight cannot be considered for recruitment.
4. Persons who are hearing impaired under loud speaking circumstances or cannot listen from both of which one Ear’s hearing capacity is below 90 decibels(the lowest hearing capacity) or who has lost hearing capacity of both the Ears. Any person whose hearing capacity in relation to general purposes of life is numb, such candidates are NOT ELIGIBLE for recruitment.
5. Persons, having physical debility of Bones, Muscles & Joints which will obstruct normal working or handicapped are not eligible.
6. The doctors of Government Hospitals at district and Taluk are empowered to issue Medical Certificate for the handicapped.
7. For the candidates who come under category of Physically Handicapped reduced debility, shall produce evaluation of Physical debility certificate from Orthopaedics Specialist as per ALMICO KANPUR (WHO standard) is compulsory.

20. Rural Candidate:
The candidate should have studied from 1st to 10th Std in rural area and obtain the certificate in form-2 by the Head master of the school in which he studied and it should be counter signed by the concerned Block Education Officer. (Format is given at the end of the notification).

21. Kannada medium Candidate
As per Rule 9 (1) (c) of Karnataka Government Services (General Recruitment) Rules 1977 and Government Order No. DPAR 71 SRR 2001, dt:24.10.2002, Candidate should have studied in Kannada medium from 1st to 10th Std, and a certificate issued by competent authority should be enclosed. 22. Eligibility conditions
I. The Candidate must be a citizen of India.
II. The candidate should satisfy the appointing authority that he is physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties that he may be called upon to perform. He must be free from the physical disabilities which may affect him in performing the duties.
III. Bengaluru City Health & Family Welfare Society® reserves the right to reject the candidature on the basis of the report of the Medical Authority that he is physically unfit and the discretionary powers of the Bangalore City Health & Family Welfare Society® is not limited in any aspect in this regard.
IV. Along with the prescribed educational qualification, the applicants having the above eligibilities are eligible to apply.
V. Selected candidate should submit in Rs.100/- bond paper that they are agreed for contractual appointment terms and condition to Bangalore Health and Family Welfare Society ® and they also submit that not claiming for permanent post and approach the Court with respect to the appointment and terms and conditions. The contractual appointment will be for 01 year and same will be renewed for subsequent years with the same terms and conditions.

23. Ensure that the following documents are enclosed
A. Marks cards of all the years/semesters of the qualifying examinations as prescribed.
B. Proof of date of Birth viz. SSLC marks/TC etc.
C. Relieve order copy from the defence service(if claimed reservation).
D. Documents for claming Reservations viz. SC/ST/CAT-1/OBC.
E. Rural Candidate certificate the given format.(if claimed reservation)
F. Certificate of Kannada medium candidate. (if claimed reservation)
G. Physically Handicapped certificate. (if claimed reservation)
H. Project Displaced certificate. (if claimed reservation).
I. In case of widow, certificate from the competent authority.

24. Other instructions.
1. Applicants are instructed to keep the duplicate copy of the duly filled application for their information.
2. If the last date for receiving applications is declared as Government holiday, the next working day will be the last date for receiving the applications.
3. Candidate will lose the chance of selection if the document produced is found to be false document during verification. He should not assume that he has the right to get appointment if his name is in the selection list.
4. At any stage, if it is found that the candidate has provided false information or is ineligible, the department has the powers to omit the candidate from the list or to cancel his/her appointment order.

Duly filled in applications from the eligible candidates, in prescribed format, with relevant documents attached, should reach the office of the CITY PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT OFFICER, Office of CPMO, Annex-3, 3rd floor, BBMP Head Office, N.R. Square, B’lore-02. on or before 18-11-2015, to be sent through post or by Courier only (Applications will not be received personally). Bangalore City Health & Family Welfare Society® reserves the right to increase or reduce the number of posts.
