Minimum prescribed educational Qualifications : Master/Integrated Masters in Natural or Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences/MVSc/Animal Sciences OR MSc Physics/Applied Physics / Chemistry / Electronics/Instrumentation from a recognized University or equivalent with minimum 55 % marks OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University OR Any equivalent qualifications duly recognized by the concerned authority as per the functional requirement

Desirable Qualification/ experience, if any : Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in hardware and software development; PLC & SCADA programming, QT, C++, LabVIEW, Python, Software hardware interface development, Embedded C, VLSI Design, Circuit Design and Analysis, Electric panel assembling, Sensor integration, Microcontroller programming, automation, experience in data acquisition, its representation, and storage.

Job requirement
Sensor Integration with PLC & SCADA for various applications
• Solid understanding of embedded systems design, debugging, and testing.
• Specialized in microcontroller programming and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART)
• Design and development of front and backend user interface for the sensor prototype as per the control philosophy, and development of hardware controls
• Interface the sensors (like pressure, temperature, level, and conductivity), interfacing their calibrations, and developing a communication protocol
• Data handling (storage, analysis, graphical representation, and remote operation)
• Technical Support during field trials

Consolidated emoluments per month : (i) 31,000/- + HRA those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET incl. lectureship/ assistant professorship or GATE OR those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by central Government Departments like DBT/ DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies/ Institutions. (ii) 25,000 + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above

* The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/women, and 3 year for OBC candidates.
The engagement will be coterminous with the tenure of sponsored project subject to satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement will be purely on temporary basis and shall not be CSIR/NCL appointment, temporary or otherwise and shall not entitle the appointee to any right/claim whatsoever, implicit or explicit, for his/her consideration against any CSIR-NCL post/fellowship.

The prescribed educational qualifications are a bare minimum and merely possessing of same will not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received in response to this Notice of engagement is large, it may not be convenient or possible to interview all the candidates. Based on the recommendation of the Screening Committee, the Project Leader may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to reasonable limits after taking into consideration qualifications and experience over and above the minimum qualifications prescribed in the Notice. Therefore, it will be in the interest of the candidates, to mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field on date of advertise.

No interview call letter will be issued separately.
No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer of engagement.
