The Third Medical College in Kerala, was established in 1962. It was formally inaugurated on 03.12.1962 by Sri.R Sankar,the then Chief Minister of Kerala in the presence of Sri.M P Govindan Nair, the Health Minister. This college, in its sixty years of development, has become one of the top-graded academic institutions and along with that, won the trust and hope of the common man in Central Kerala as a center of excellence for advanced treatments . Project Details
Project work : Nanoengineering to induce immune tolerance in the regulation of autoimmune model of Rheumatoid Arthritis
Funded by : ANRF Advanced Research Grant (ARG, 50 lakhs)
Tenure : 3 years (Initially for one year and extendable to 3 years based on the performance)
Fellowship : Rs. 37000 +10 % HRA (Rs. 40700/-per month )
Collaborative Institute : Manipal college of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal, MAHE & MG University, Kottayam

Eligibility criteria
Qualifications
Post graduate degree in Pharmacy (M.Pharm/M.S Pharm/ M.Tech Pharm etc), or M.Sc/M.Tech in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Nanotechnology, Molecular Medicine etc
Desirable
GPAT /GATE/NET/CSIR Qualified candidates or Research experience in synthetic inorganic chemistry/nanosynthesis/molecular biology/animal model development/immunology, along with Good oral and written communication skills

Selection process
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. TA/ DA will not be provided for attending the interview.
