The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine (instem.res.in), Bangalore is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. BRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation. To develop strengths in focused areas, research at BRIC-inStem is driven through collaborative interdisciplinary teams, addressing questions that are beyond the scope of a single laboratory.

We are looking for dedicated professionals who are result-oriented, can assimilate, analyze and communicate data effectively and are excellent team players capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Post-Doctoral Fellow
Fellowship : (Rs.58,000/-+HRA) Thesis Submitted PhD yet to awarded (Rs.42,000/- + HRA)

Qualification & Experience : PhD in Life Science / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Immunology from a recognized University and degree awarded not more than 4 years ago. Candidates who have submitted their thesis and awaiting defence are also eligible to apply
Job Description : Prior experience in mouse handling, molecular biology techniques and immunohistochemistry is mandatory and any expertise in the field of neurogenesis and neurochemistry is desirable.

Project Associate-II
Fellowship : Rs. 42,000/m+ HRA (Net Qualified) Rs. 25,000/m+ HRA (Non-Net Qualified)

Qualification & Experience : M.Sc. in Life Sciences / Biological Sciences / Zoology or equivalent from a recognized university and two years of experience in R&D in a Scientific organization
Experience : Prior experience in mosquito- borne disease research is an advantage. Previous working experience with BSL-2 level organisms is desirable.
Job Description : To carry out day-to-day lab research activities in the lab. Self-driven candidates interested in infectious disease research and with experience in parasitology, imaging, Molecular Biology, entomology and mosquito infection research are preferred.

Tenure : Contractual appointment for 11 Eleven months, renewable based on requirement and review of progress and requirement of the Grant.
