Post : Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical)

For ICMR funded Project entitled “Clinically relevant Three-Dimensional Bioprinted Liver Construct and its efficacy evaluation in Porcine Liver Disease Model” P.8255

Qualification (Essential) : MSc Biotechnology / Biochemistry with First Class OR Integrated M.Sc Biotechnology / Biochemistry with First Class

Experience (Desirable) : Experience in Mammalian Cell culture, Immuno detection techniques, molecular biology techniques, tissue processing / staining, biochemical estimations, protein quantification; PhD in relevant filed / experience in animal experimentation / 3D Bioprinting / previous experience in tissue engineering related work.

Job description : Involve in bioink synthesis, biological evaluation of bioink, animal cell culture, primary cell culture from animal tissues, develop animal models and transplantation experiment, serum analysis, biochemical estimations, working with bioreactor, ELISA, Gene expression, Proteome analysis, Histoanalysis, Immunostaining techniques, participate in national and international conference, design and fabricate custom components necessary for the project.

Monthly emoluments : Rs.56,000/- + 20% HRA

Age limit as on 01.03.2026 : 35 years

No. of vacancies : Existing—1 ST (Backlog) (In the absence of eligible ST candidates, UR will be considered.)

Duration : Initially for a period upto 24.02.2027, likely to be extended upto 24.02.2028.

Intimation regarding the schedule of interview will be sent to their email id provided in the ONLINE application form. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Experience wherever prescribed means experience gained AFTER acquiring the prescribed essential qualification.

Note : Depending on the number of candidates, a written test of a qualifying nature will be conducted for initial screening and only qualified candidates will be called for interview. Marks obtained in the written test, if conducted, will not be counted for final ranking.
