Applications are invited for filling up the following posts on a purely contractual basis for the research project titled “Development of a non-invasive CRISPR-based salivary cell-free DNA diagnostic test for pediatric pulmonary tuberculosis” funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) New Delhi, under the supervision of Dr. Indu Verma, Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

Qualification :
Essential : Four years Bachelor's Degree in Sciences / Master's Degree in Sciences / BVSc / BPharm or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine or from a recognized University or equivalent and Two years' experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services

Desirable : Prior hands on experience preferably in the field of tuberculosis and molecular techniques

Salary (As per ANRF) : 1. 42,000/- + HRA to Scholars with (a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions 2.33,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) and (b) above

Age Limit in years : Not exceeding 50 years
