Job Description
Success in the position will require the candidate to work innovatively, collaboratively, and with agility in a matrix environment. The candidate will also be expected to drive innovation in the formulation development or fill-finish process development area.
Candidate Profile
1. A solid understanding of the factors that drive physical and chemical degradation in therapeutic protein dosage forms.
2. Experience modelling protein degradation reaction kinetics.
3. Understanding the formulation approaches to stabilizing against degradation in liquid or lyophilized dosage forms.
4. Knowledge and experience using biochemical or biophysical methods to characterize proteins and their degradation products.
5. An understanding of the aseptic processing conditions used for filling formulations into vials, syringes, and/or cartridges.
6. Experience developing innovative solutions to unmet technical needs in a product development environment.
7. Ability to partner with other scientists across the larger Development organization to achieve project outcomes.
8. Excellent communication skills.
