Job Summary
To answer drug and poison information calls from the citizens of South Carolina through the Palmetto Poison Center.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or PharmD degree in Pharmacy; Licensed as a registered pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in providing poison and drug information
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Must have up-to-date knowledge of drug and poison information to relay to the public; and, or, skills to direct callers to appropriate caregivers in emergency situations.
