The state Government of Maharashtra has established and incorporated an independent University of the health Sciences for the purposes of ensuring proper and systematic instruction, teaching, training and research in modern medicine and Indian system of medicine in the State of Maharashtra and to have balanced growth in the medical sciences so also in uniformity in various courses in medical faculty in the State, and to provide for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.
Post : Analytical Chemist - 01 post
Qualification : M.Sc. (Analytical Chemistry) OR M.Pharm. (Quality Assurance / Pharm. analysis)
Experience : Minimum two years’ experience of operating sophisticated analytical instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, AAS, XRD, etc.
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 50000/- Per Month
Job profile :
1. Ensure cleaning, sterilizing and maintaining laboratory equipments / instruments including workspaces.
2. To ensure safety, quality and regulatory guidelines as well as ensure compliance with SOPs and other regulations.
3. To assist in maintaining inventory, ordering laboratory supplies and restocking of consumables.
4. To prepare samples for analysis and ensure they meet minimum requirements.
5. Shall be able to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis
6. Shall be able to conduct experiments and record data.
7. Shall contribute to research projects and develop new analytical techniques.
8. Any other activities deemed necessary to run the laboratory smoothly.
General terms and conditions
1. This appointment will be on a temporary basis for a period of five years on a fixed-pay post created using university funds for the university's academic section.
2. Interested candidates should send their fully filled applications in the prescribed format, along with a Demand Draft (non-refundable) of Rs. 500/- as a processing fee, to the Registrar, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Vani-Dindori Road, Mhasrul, Nashik - 422004. 3. The Demand Draft from a nationalized bank must be drawn in favor of "The Registrar, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik," payable at Nashik.
4. Attested photocopies of the following documents must be attached with the application:
a) Proof of date of birth
b) Educational qualification certificates
c) Experience certificate
d) Computer literacy certificate
e) No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned institution, if currently employed
5. Applications received after 09/07/2026 will not be considered. Furthermore, the university will not enter into any correspondence regarding applications received late via post.
6. A decision regarding conducting a screening test or interview will be taken after considering the number of applications received in response to this advertisement.
7. A skill test will be conducted for eligible candidates for the said posts; only those who qualify in the skill test will be deemed eligible for the interview.
8. Information regarding this advertisement will be published on the University website from time to time. Candidates are advised to obtain updated information from the University website regularly. No individual intimation will be sent to any candidate.
9. This appointment is temporary and funded by the University; it is not a regular appointment. Consequently, the appointee will not be absorbed into the University's regular service, nor will they be entitled to claim any benefits associated with regular service (such as leave encashment, etc.).
10. The provisions of Directive No. 04/2020 (excluding leave rules) regarding conduct, discipline, duties, and terms and conditions of service shall apply to employees appointed to these posts.
11. The appointment will initially be on a temporary basis for a period of one year. Any further extension of the appointment will depend on a review of performance and the continued requirement for the post.
12. Age Limit: As prescribed by the Government—generally a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 38 years; for backward class candidates, a maximum of 43 years; subject to any revisions prescribed by the Government from time to time.
13. The competent appointing authority reserves the right to terminate the services of such a contractual appointee at any time under special circumstances.
14. A person appointed on a contractual basis must not engage in any professional activity that would interfere with the performance of their assigned duties.
15. A person appointed on a contractual basis is required to disclose any conflict of interest.
16. Persons appointed on a contractual basis must maintain confidentiality regarding the documents, information, and supporting materials they receive.
17. Only candidates possessing the educational qualifications and experience specified in the advertisement should submit applications in the prescribed format.
18. Candidates must appear for the examination/interview at their own expense.
19. Candidates who fail to appear at the scheduled date and time will not be considered. Furthermore, the University will not enter into any correspondence regarding applications received after the prescribed deadline.
20. The University reserves the right to alter the number of posts mentioned in the advertisement, to fill or not fill the posts, or to cancel the recruitment process.
