Openings for Pharmacists under Ministry of Defence, ECHS

The ECHS Central Organisation is located at Delhi and functions under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through AG and DGDC&W in Army HQ. The Central organisation is headed by Managing Director, ECHS, a serving Major General. There are 28 Regional Centres ECHS and 426 ECHS Polyclinics. ECHS is also an attached office of Dept of Ex-Servivemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD) as are Directorate General Resettlement(DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

Post : Pharmacist

ECHS invites applications for the following appointments from Ex-Servicemen and Civilians to be employed as contractual employees on various appointments tenable at the following Polyclinics, under the jurisdiction of Station Headquarters, Chennai for the vacancies from 01 Oct 2026 to 31 Mar 2027. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview through SMS/email Employment period for Ex-Servicemen would be 12 months and for others it will be 11 months

No of posts : 07 (Vellore - 01, Chennai - 01, Chennai ^- 01, Kanchipuram - 01, Villupuram - 01, Puducherry - 01, Cuddalore - 01)
^ vacancy pay scale will be in lieu of Lab Assistant
Qualification : B.Pharm or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and Diploma in Pharmacy
Work experience : Minimum 3 year's experience as a Pharmacist
Age Limit : 56
Salary : Rs 36,500/-

Valid Registration certificate including renewals for the current year (For Medical and Para Medical Candidate Only)
Computers course certificate
Experience Certificates.
MEDICAL FITNESS CERT DULY SIGNED BY: -
For ESM: Medical officer of dependent Polyclinic and countersigned by OIC ECHS Polyclinic.
For others: Chief Medical Officer of Govt Hospital only.
No objection certificate from the current employer (If applicable)
