Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry Fellowship at BRIC-ILS

BRIC- Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, invites applications from Indian Nationals to join the following position sanctioned under an extramural project.

Post : Senior Research Fellow

Project Title : “Targeting the DNA Polymerase Kappa with a novel compound and using a transplanted mouse model for pre-clinical compound testing.”
Project Investigator : Dr. S. Chakraborty
Project duration : 18 months.
Number of vacancies : One

Essential Qualification : First-class Master’s degree in Life Sciences/Zoology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from a recognized University. A minimum of 2 years of laboratory research experience in solid tumor biology/leukemia biology, with at least one 1st/2nd -author paper published in a reputable journal in the specified subject area mentioned above, is required.

Age Limit : 35 years as of 20.07.2026.
Age relaxation will be provided in accordance with the rules of the GOI.

Fellowship : Rs. 42000 per month (consolidated)
