All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar is one of the apex healthcare Institutes established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). Under this scheme six new All India Institutes of Medical Sciences have been established at Patna, Raipur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur and Rishikesh apart from the one at New Delhi.

Essential Qualifications & Experience :
1. Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University / Institution.
2. Should be a registered Pharmacist under Pharmacy Act 1948
Desirable :
1. Experience in working in Government Hospital Setting.
2. Prior experience of managing and dispensing medications governed by NDPS Act
3. Prior experience of managing Opioid Substitution Therapy drugs like Methadone and Buprenorphine
4. Prior experience working in mental health facility (psychiatric ward or rehabilitation center)

Important Notes :
1. The above vacancies are provisional and subject to variation. The Executive Director, AIIMS. Bhubaneswar reserves the right to vary the vacancies including reserved vacancies as per the Govt, of India Rules/Circulars and requirements.
2. The cut-off date for determining the maximum age limit, essential qualifications, and requisite experience' will be the date of the interview (as applicable).
3. The candidature of all the candidates for interview is purely provisional subject to verification and fulfillment of the eligibility criteria with regards to age, essential qualification, experience certificate. Nr objection certificate from their current employer, certificate of registration with national or state medical councils, and reservation certificate if applicable etc. and if they are found ineligible at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled.
4. The period of engagement will be for a period of 11 (Eleven) months. The engagement will be purely on contractual basis and it will not bestow any rights implicitly or explicitly upon the candidate to claim any permanent absorption or any liability to the AIIMS, Bhubaneswar on termination of the contract.
5. The period of contractual engagement can be terminated by the candidate within 1 month of notice period or remuneration in lieu of the notice period, if he/she resigns from the post prematurely. However,
Institute will have the rights to terminate the engagement at any time without citing any reasons.
6. Salary of the Staff will be consolidated as per the institute norms, calculated based on Basic Pay, along with DA and NPA if applicable, at the time of advertisement.
7. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Personal Interview.
8. Candidates coming for interview are also requested to bring filled-in application form along with photocopies of all necessary documents as well as original documents with a valid photo identification card viz. Voter Identity Card, Driving license, PAN Card, Passport, Aadhar Card etc.
9. Candidates should come prepared with a PowerPoint (CD/Pen drive containing PPT only) on their work/major achievements, not exceeding five minutes covering the following aspects: First slide - Name and Service/Innovations, Research/Publications, and Major recognitions/awards (one slide each).
10. The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection. The methodology of Selection will be decided by the Selection Committee as deemed fit besides any other matter relating to the selection process.
11. Canvassing in favor of candidature both direct and indirect is strictly prohibited. Violation of this code of conduct will be brought to the notice of the Selection Committee, besides the Institute reserves the right to cancel candidature of such offending candidate at any point of time, if there is sufficient evidence of canvassing. The decision of Competent Authority in this regard will be treated as final.
12. AIIMS, Bhubaneswar decision is final: The decision of the AIIMS, Bhubaneswar in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, penalty for false information, mode of selection, methodologies for the selection, and allotment of posts to selected candidates will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry / correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
13. All disputes will be subject to jurisdiction of Court of Law at Bhubaneswar.
