Applications are invited from eligible applicants to fill the following post on a contractual basis for the Department of Science and Technology (DST) funded project under CSRI initiative entitled “Efficacy and accuracy of cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers in comparison with the Boston 2.0 Criteria in the diagnosis of Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy in an Indian Cohort” under Dr Sucharita Ray, Principal Investigator and Additional Professor, Department of Neurology, PGIMER, Chandigarh-160012

Post : Project Research Associate II (i)

No of Post : One
Age Limit : 35 years
(Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and other eligible categories shall be applicable as per DST rules)

Qualification : Essential Qualification
• Must have completed Postgraduation in Biotechnology / Life Sciences /Genetics/Public Health or equivalent from a recognised university
• Candidates qualified in CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, ICMR-JRF, DBT-JRF, INSPIRE, or any other national-level competitive fellowship/examination will be preferred.

Desirable Qualification
• Previous experience in clinical research methodology, patient recruitment & data entry, and statistical analysis will be favoured
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, other MS Office software, REDCap or equivalent and research documentation
• Working knowledge of good clinical practices, patient communication and desirous of pursuing a future in neurological sciences will be favoured
• Previous exposure and interaction with neurological patients will be desirable

Emoluments : 35000/- + HRA
Duration of Project : 3 years
Duration of Appointment : Probation for 3 months, extendable annually till project completion based on satisfactory performance.
