NIPER Recruitment : Opportunities for Life Sciences or Pharmacy Candidates

Applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals for the following temporary position under the project entitled “The Technical Resource Centre under the Centre for Evidence for Guidelines by NIPER” (GP-482) sponsored by Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Govt. of India), New Delhi under Dr. Dipika Bansal, Professor & HoD, Department of Pharmacy Practice & Clinical Research, NIPER-SAS Nagar. This position is purely on temporary basis for a period of 01 year and is co-terminus with the duration of the project.

Remunerations : Rs. 67,000/- p.m.+ HRA, as admissible.

Essential Qualification : Post Graduate degree in Public Health/ Statistics/ Epidemiology/Health Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/ HTA/ Population Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutical Sciences/ Demography/ Health Economics/M. Pharma (Pharmacy Practice/ Clinical Research/Pharmacology/ Nursing) with 05 years of experience. OR Ph. D. in Public Health/Statistics/ Epidemiology/ Health Sciences/Life Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/ HTA/ Population Sciences/ Demography/ Health Economics/ Pharmacy Practice/ Clinical Research//Pharmacology/ Nursing/ Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Desirable Qualification : Preference will be given to candidates with (1) Publications (Systematic Reviews and Meta- analysis) as first author/ corresponding author in SCIE Q1 Journals and (2) High-level expertise in conducting data analysis using R Programming/Phyton.

• Only eligible Indian nationals can apply for the position.
• The engagement is full time and purely on temporary basis for all intent and purposes for a period of 01 year and is co-terminus with the duration of the project.
• The engagement will not establish any right/claim for regularization/absorption against any vacant post in the Institute.

• The candidate(s) who fulfil the eligibility criteria may appear for a walk-in-interview along with the application form to be held on 06.07.2026 (Monday) from 03:00 pm to 4:00 p.m. in the Room NO. 206, Department of Pharmacy Practice & Clinical Research, NIPER-SAS Nagar – 160062 (Punjab).

• The selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in interview.
• The candidate(s) attending the interview must fulfil the eligibility criteria and should bring attested copies of testimonials / degrees / certificates in support of the averments made in the qualification & experience etc. along with Demand Draft of requisite application fee, if applicable, as mentioned at point No. 13 below.
• The candidature will be considered as invalid, ab-initio, in case he/she does not fulfil the eligibility criteria. Candidate should satisfy himself/herself regarding the possession of required qualification, age, experience, etc., as stipulated above, before appearing in interview.
• Candidates with incomplete application or without relevant supporting enclosures i.e. self- attested copies of degree/certificates/marks sheets/experience certificate/reprint of important publications (if any), without photographs, signatures, and prescribed fee will not be allowed to appear in Walk-in-Interview.
• Candidates shall have to produce original documents/testimonials at the time of the interview, failing which, such candidates shall not be allowed for interview. The original certificates/degrees etc. of the candidate(s) are subject to verification before joining, in case of selection.
• The application fee as detailed below is required to be submitted at the time of the interview in the form of a Demand Draft in favour of ‘Director, NIPER-SAS Nagar’ payable at SAS Nagar (Mohali)/Chandigarh: i. • Application fees in other forms will not be accepted.
• Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD etc. will be as per the Government of India rules. The candidates are required to attach valid proof for claiming relaxation as per the guidelines prescribed by the Government of India from time to time.
• In exceptionally meritorious cases or under special circumstances, the eligibility requirements of age, educational qualification and experience for the position may be relaxed.

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
