IGIMS was established on 19th November 1983, as an autonomous organisation on the pattern of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The objective was to provide super specialty medical facilities in Bihar. On 27th January 1983 Cabinet approved the completion of this massive project in 4 phases within a span of six (6) years. According to the decision of State Government, 130.20 Acres of land was transferred to IGIMS.

Title of the Project : Evaluation of the Correlation of Maternal Serum Biomarkers with Fetal Ultrasound Scans in First- Trimester Low-Risk Noninvasive Prenatal-Tested Pregnant Women and their role as Prognostic Biomarkers for fetal outcomes. Project Code : 002

Minimum Qualifications : Post Graduate degree in basic science OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following: (a) Scholars who are selected through national eligibility tests-CSIR-UGC, NET including (Assistant Professorship) and GATE, (b) The selection process through National level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT,DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR
Desirable Qualifications : Candidate having hands on experience in molecular Biology techniques like RT-PCR. ELISA, NGS etc.
Monthly Emoluments : Rs. 31,000+16% HRA
Tenure : The initial offer will be of 12 months and renewable subject to satisfactory performance. The position is temporary and co¬terminus with the project.
Age : Preferably not more than 30 years on closing date of advertisement.
Remarks : Relaxation of age as per rule prescribed
