Applications are invited for Principal, Assistant Professor at KLE University

The institute will strive to be among the top ten medical colleges in India in the spheres of medical education, research and health care services. Added to this 1000 bed Dr.Prabhakar Kore Charitable Hospital and three Primary Health Centres and one urban Health centre will be the epicenters of post graduate and under graduate training, wherein patients are treated free and exclusively meant for training the post graduate and under graduate in their basic knowledge and skills. The extreme shortage of medical facilities in the region, promoted the KLE Society to establish the Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College at Belgaum in 1963. The J N Medical College, Belgaum, stands testimony to the high professional standards aimed for and achieved by the KLE Society.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment for Principal & Teaching faculty at its constituent institution of KLE College of Pharmacy, Belagavi, Hubballi & Bengaluru.

Principal
Academic qualification
1. Basic degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm)
2. Registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act.
3. Master’s degree in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy
4. Ph. D degree (with first class degree either at Bachelor’s or Masters level in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy.

Experience
15 years of experience in Teaching/Industry/Research out of which 5 years must be at the level of Professor or above in Pharmacy.

Desirable:
• Administrative experience in responsible position (Principal/Vice-principal/Dean/HoD)
• Experience in participating various Accredating agencies viz. NIRF, NAAC, NBA etc.
• Experience in Securing Grant from different Funding Agencies.
• Minimum of one year experience as Principal/HoD.
• Publications in SCI Journals.

Assistant Professor
Academic qualification
1. Basic degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm)
2. Registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act.
3. Master’s degree in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy
4. Ph. D degree (with first class degree either at Bachelor’s or Masters level in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy.

Experience
3 years of experience in Teaching/Industry/Research at the level of Lecturer or A lecturer will be re-designated as Assistant Professor after 2 years of teaching experience in PCI approved/ recognized Pharmacy College.
