Job Description

  • The Domain Head, HLS should create multiple centers of excellence within the Wipro solution development and service delivery organization. He / She should hire team members with a background in lifesciences, healthcare, medical devices and analytics functions, who are constantly generating go-to-market ideas, testing the relevance in the market and evolving several new offerings.   
  •  Conduct meaningful discussions with customer representatives as part of engagement with customers during the pre-sales and post-sales phases of customer management.    
  • Assist in translating customer requirements into solutions architecture.\    
  • Educate the Wipro organization about the trends in pharma, lifesciences, government and healthcare segments and enable the Wipro organization to create standardized service lines which could be offered, thereby merging pharma knowledge with technology initiatives. In effect provide thought-leadership for IT interventions in pharma & lifesciences world.  

  • Enhance the network within the pharma community by participating in seminars and conferences as the key speaker.    
  • Convert rolodex into leads, leads into active business prospects and work along with the sales teams to put the best foot in the door of customer organization. Should even not hesitate to carry a revenue target for leads generated and handled by his/her efforts.    
  • Be the proactive industry touch-point in assessing the needs of the pharma and lifescience customers and enable Wipro to be the first to go off the ground to offer unique solutions.    
  • Enable creating IPRs in technology solutions for pharma world.    
  • Progressively cover discovery science, biotech, bio informatics and the healthcare segments to map the trends and evolve potential technology interventions.    
  • An in-house expert who is all the time pushing the profile of offerings from the standard technology based offerings to high-end offerings supporting business growth requirements of customers.    
  • Essentially work at the intersection of technology, science and healthcare.
