For DHR Funded Project entitled “Regional Resource Centre for Health Technology Assessment” (P-5355)
Qualification & Experience
• MBBS degree with 6 years of experience in Health Technology Assessment
OR
• Post Graduate Diploma in Medical subjects after MBBS with 5 years of experience in Health Technology Assessment
OR
• Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) after MBBS with 4 years of research experience in Health Technology Assessment.
OR
• M.Sc. Life Science/MPH/MHA/M.Pharm (Master of Pharmacy)/ Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy) with 4 years of experience in Health Technology Assessment.
Qualification & Experience (Desirable) • Expertise in Epidemiology, Evidence Synthesis, and Health Economics.
• Knowledge of Health Economic Modelling techniques.
• Proficiency in statistical and analytical software, including R, Tree Age, Microsoft Excel and STATA.
• Prior teaching or training experience in Health Technology Assessment (HTA).
• Experience in conducting costing studies in healthcare settings.
• Familiarity with the local language.
Job description : • Support and contribute to the execution of ongoing HTA projects at the Resource centre.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of proposals for consideration by the Technical Support Committee.
• Support the HTAIn Secretariat in building and maintaining effective working relationship with partner organizations.
• Supervise and guide the activities of junior staff.
Monthly emoluments : Rs. 67,000 + 18% HRA
Age limit as on 01.01.2026 : 40 Years*
Number of vacancies : Existing - 1 (EWS-1) (In absence of eligible EWS candidates, eligible UR will be considered).
Nature / Tenure of appointment : Temporary (Purely on contract), for a period till 09.03.2027 or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
*Age relaxation upto 5 years shall be granted to candidates having experience of working in Government Research Organisation in line with ICMR Order No. 16/29/2023/Admin/E.Office No.157401 dated 18.10.2024point (h). Income and Asset Certificate (for EWS) should be valid and in the prescribed format applicable for employment in Central Govt. Institutions, issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of a Tahsildhar. Candidate without valid document will not be considered under reserved post.
