Opportunity for M.Pharm, M.S Pharm, MTech Pharm as Research Scientist at NIPER

Applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals for one temporary position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) under a project entitled “Development of low-cost prostaglandins for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension” (GP-484) sponsored by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), under supervision of Prof. Arvind Kumar Bansal, Department of Pharmaceutics, NIPER-SAS Nagar. The position is purely on temporary basis initially for a period of 1 (one) year, extendable on yearly basis on the satisfactory performance of the candidate for a maximum period of 4 (four) years and is co-terminus with the duration of the project.

Post : Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

Essential Qualification : First class M.S. (Pharm.) / M. Pharm. / M.Tech. (Pharm.) or equivalent degree in Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Technology / Industrial Pharmacy or equivalent branch.
Desirable Qualification : Candidates having experience in the area of formulation development and characterization of parenterals shall be given preference.
Age limit : Not more than 35 years (age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD is as per GoI rules. The candidates are required to attach valid proof for claiming relaxation as per the guidelines prescribed by the Government of India from time to time).
Fellowship : Rs. 56,000/-p.m. + HRA, as admissible.

The selected candidate shall be allowed to register for Ph.D. programme as per the rules and regulations of the Institute.

• The engagement is full time and purely temporary for all intent and purposes initially for a period of 01 year and extendable on yearly basis on the satisfactory performance of the candidate for a maximum period of 4 (four) years and is co-terminus with the duration of the project.
• The interviews will be held in person at NIPER-SAS Nagar and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Interview call letters will be sent through e-mail only. The application form received without valid proof of deposit of the prescribed application fee will be summarily rejected and no representation/request shall be entertained in this regard.
• Candidates called for interview have to produce original certificates / degree / testimonials etc. for verification at the time of interview, failing which, such candidate(s) shall not be allowed to appear in interview.
• Candidates with incomplete application or without relevant supporting enclosures (i.e. self attested copies of degree / certificates / marks sheets / experience certificate / reprint of important publications, without photographs, signatures and prescribed fee) will not be interviewed.
