Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work under the research project entitled “Stereochemically Engineered Peptide Vectors for Targeted Delivery of Cytoskeleton Modulating Drugs in Ovarian Cancer” funded by Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission, Govt. of Gujarat at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU). The post is purely temporary and co-terminates with the project.
Minimum Qualifications : M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.Pharm. or equivalent in Biotechnology and allied areas with a minimum of 55% marks in the preceding qualification.
Desirable Qualifications :
• Candidates who have qualified the CSIR-UGC-NET/DBT- JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE etc. National-level exams will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience/interests in Peptide/Organic Synthesis and Biophysical Characterization of Peptides.
• Candidates with good communication skills.
Age Limit : Up to 30 years on closing date of advertisement
Fellowship Duration : Initially for 1 year, extendable on an annual basis for subsequent years (total 3 years or project tenure) subject to satisfactory progress, and financial provisions.
Fellowship : Rs. 36,000/- per month including HRA (CSIR-UGC-NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE etc. or national-level exam qualified candidates) as per GSBTM, DST, GoG guidelines. OR Rs. 23,213/- fixed per month ( For candidates who have not qualified for the national- level-examinations such as CSIR-UGC-NET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/GATE etc.) as per GSBTM, DST, GoG guidelines.
