Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is an autonomous institution that was established in 1989 by the Department of Science and Technology, GoI to commemorate the birth centenary year of Jawaharlal Nehru. Prof. C. N. R. Rao, FRS, was the founding President. The Centre was registered as a society with Dr. Raja Ramanna (eminent physicist and former Chairman, DAE) as its first Chairman.

Post : Junior Research Fellow [JRF] (01 Post)

Applications are invited for temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) sanctioned in the sponsored project titled “Compositionally and Structurally Tuneable Multifunctional Transition Metal Halide Perovskites” under the Principal Investigator Dr. Pratap Vishnoi at New Chemistry Unit, JNCASR, Jakkur, Bengaluru, 560064.

Remuneration : Rs.37,000 plus 24% HRA

Essential Qualification : Post graduate degree in Chemistry / Chemical Science with a valid NET-JRF/GATE score card.

Desirable Qualification : Inorganic chemistry, crystal growth and x-ray diffraction.

Max. Age limit : 28 years
