Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is an autonomous institution that was established in 1989 by the Department of Science and Technology, GoI to commemorate the birth centenary year of Jawaharlal Nehru. Prof. C. N. R. Rao, FRS, was the founding President. The Centre was registered as a society with Dr. Raja Ramanna (eminent physicist and former Chairman, DAE) as its first Chairman.
Post : Project Assistant (01 Post)
Applications are invited for the temporary position of Project Assistant sanctioned in the sponsored project “ANRF Project: ANRF/ECRG/2024/002987/LS” under the Principal Investigator Dr. Varun Bhaskar, Molecular Biology and Genetics Unit, JNCASR, Jakkur, Bengaluru, 560064.
Remuneration : Rs. 27,000 plus 24% HRA
Essential Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Life Science OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in associated fields
Desirable Qualification : The ideal candidate should have experience in Cell culture and Imaging. Knowledge of NGS data analysis is an added advantage, but it is not a prerequisite.
Max. Age limit : 28 years
