Recruitment for Pharmacists at SECL

South Eastern Coalfields Limited Subsidiary of Coal India Limited, a Govt, of India Undertaking engaged in Coal Mining activities in Chhatisgarh and Madhya Pradesh invites applications from the Indian Nationals

Post : Pharmacist T&S Grade -C

No of posts : 10 (SC-04, ST-01, UR-05)
Minimum Qualification : Must be Matriculate having passed Pharmacist exam from an Institute recognized / approved by Govt, and registered with Pharmacy council with valid registration under Pharmacy Act 1948

1. Experience wherever applicable, should pertain to the period after acquiring minimum essential qualification.
2. The employee after successful completion of 6 months of training from the initial date of appointment will be eligible for participating in the selection


Written Test
Total -100 marks
Pattern of Written Test :Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Pattern containing 100 questions. Each question will carry 01 mark.
Written Test will be conducted on OMR Sheet
There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Qualifying Marks
General Category : 40% of Total marks in Written Test.
SC/ST Category : 35% of Total marks in Written Test.


Required information / guidelines for the applicant employee :
1. Specimen Annexure (1) of the application is enclosed with this notification.  Applicants are advised to read and complete the attached sample carefully.  Incomplete applications and applications received after the last date will be rejected.  It is necessary to send the original copy of the application again.
2. Applications made in the prescribed format from SECL and other subsidiaries of CIL Kolkata and departmental employees working in CIL Headquarters, Kolkata will only be accepted for the notified post.  The said application form can also be downloaded from SECL's website secl.cil.in.  
3. The last date for submission of application form at their respective workplace (SECL Area / Other Subsidiary Company / CIL Headquarters Kolkata) will be Dated - 21.07.2022.  Thereafter, after scrutiny of the applications, the concerned Regional Personnel Manager / other subsidiaries / CIL Headquarters Kolkata through General Manager (Personnel / DO / NEE.) to the Chief Manager (CO / NEE) , SECL Headquarters, Bilaspur  to be sent.  
4. The employee applying should make it clear in his application that the nature of his work is underground or surface.
5. The following documents are required to be attached by the applicant with the application.
(a) Self-attested copy of mark sheet/certificate in respect of matriculate and higher educational qualification
(b) Self-signed copy of mark sheet/certificate in respect of technical qualification and professional qualification.
(c) Self attested copy of Surveyor Certificate of Competency for the post of Mine Surveyor
(d) Pharmacist Council for the post of Pharmacist and Self attested copy of valid registration certificate issued by Nursing Council for the post of Staff Nurse.  
(e) Self-signed copy of permanent caste certificate of SC/ST category employees.  (The officer issuing the caste certificate should be of the rank of Tehsildar or above)
6. During the selection process or at any time in future, information is received by the applicant regarding willful suppression of facts or giving false or false information.  In that case, the candidature of the applicant/employee concerned will be canceled forthwith, as well as disciplinary action will be taken under the provisions of the certified standing order of the company.

1. Photocopy of documents/certificates submitted by the applicant to be matched with the original copy  Necessary .  
2. All entries in the application form are to be verified and verified from the service book.  
3. The employees against whom departmental disciplinary proceedings will be pending till the completion of the selection process will not be eligible for selection on the said post.  If any disciplinary proceedings are initiated after forwarding the application, the same information (including the details of the charge sheet) should be sent to the Chief Manager (CA/NEE) SECL before the written test.  
4. The desired Confidential Annual Performance Report and annual attendance (including authorized leave) of the applicant employee is required to be made available by entering it in the prescribed form for eligibility.
5. Concerned applicant / employee, any one or more than one year confidential report is not notified in case of poor or annual attendance (including authorized leave), 190 days of underground employees and 240 days of surface employees, less than  will not be eligible for the post and the application of such employees is not to be forwarded from the subsidiary company/region/unit.  The reason for not forwarding the application is required to be intimated to the applicant employee concerned. 
6. Attendance of actual working period (including authorized leave) of employees whose service period is less than one year after the date of appointment need to be mentioned. 
7. Such employees, in whose case after the year 2020, if after the departmental selection, on the basis of the request made to cancel the selection after not joining the selected / posted site or after taking charge, if the selection has been canceled and they  Debarred from the selection process for 2 years, Debarred for a period of two (2) years from the date of issue of cancellation order from the future selection process in SECL for any post of non-officer cadre.

Other necessary conditions regarding selection to the notified post
1. Salary of the selected employees will be protected as per rules.  
2. The selected employees will be posted in different areas of SECL as per the vacancy and requirement. Therefore, while applying, the departmental employees should submit the application thoughtfully.  In the event of acceptance of the request for cancellation of selection after taking charge or not joining the post after selection, the order of cancellation of selection will be issued from the selection process to be held in SECL for any other post of non-officer cadre in future.  shall be debarred for two (2) years from the date.  
3. The applications received in the written examination will be scrutinized at the SECL Headquarter level.  After the scrutiny, the list of applicants whose applications will fulfill the requisite qualification, will be issued.  After that, written examination will be conducted centrally at SECL Headquarters, Bilaspur for the workers found eligible as per the provision under Cadre Scheme and SOP.  The venue and date of examination will be informed separately.
4. Applicants for appearing in the written test must have the T.A. of CIL.  / DA  Will be eligible for authorized class fare and traveling allowance as per rules.
