The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.
Applications are invited on a plain paper for the contractual post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the DST funded project under Prof. Bikash Medhi Department of Pharmacology, PGIMER. Chandigarh-160012. The post is purely on temporary basis.
Post : Junior Research Fellow
Qualification : First Class Master's Degree in Pharmacology / Life-Sciences from a recognized university. (As per DST rules)
Desirable : Preference will he given to GATE/NET or any other national exam qualified candidate and relevant experience in the field along with animal handling.
Age : As per DST norms
Pay Scale : As per DST norms.
The above appointment will he purely on temporary basis.
